Summary: A must read for all african american women
Review: I've only started reading the book in find it very interesting, it goes very well with the others I have read by this author. I'm only wishing that the rest of the book is just as great!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Woo!
Review: I've read all of Mrs. McMillan books and this one was very enlighting and full of drama. I must admit it started off slow but after a few pages I couldn't put it down. I enjoyed the development of characters. The friendship that Thyme and Khan shared was special. Rosalyn you are doing well. Keep them coming. Be Blessed!

Summary: just "okay"
Review: I've read Rosalyn McMillan's other novels and found them to be very well written (save the Harlequin Romance-like names she gives her characters) Unlike the others, I found this story to be a bit flat and much more predictable. I am afraid that she may be following too closely in her sisters footsteps-- becoming more concerned with the quantity of books she turns out than she is with the QUALITY.

Summary: Much Drama
Review: It took me a couple of pages to really get hooked, but once I was the pages just flew by. With every page there was more drama and more drama. An excellent job was done with the character development and background. I was glad to see Khan come 180 degrees in her growth. i think that people should take Mama Pearls wisdom about life and love to heart. I was glad that Thyme would not let Sydney see her upset, in the living room scene, but Sydney really need the s#!* smacked out of her for pulling a stunt like that. I can't wait for the next one.

Summary: this book received two stars because of the ending.....
Review: Ms. McMillian should have taken a little while longer to write this book. Athough she has a lot of knowledge about the automobile industry, this still made this book just plain boring. None of the characters had any depth. Was there a plot to this book? I will advise everyone to read the epilogue first before buying the book, it is the only exciting part. Usually Rosalyn has some really raunchy sex scenes in her books to at least keep you interested but of course that was not the case with Blue Collar Bore!!!!!!!

Summary: I Love Drama and This Book Had Mad Drama
Review: Nobody writes Drama better than Ms. Rosalyn McMillan. I love all her books. Life is filled with drama and Rosalyn knows how to put it on paper. I look forward to your new material. ANTICIPATION is killing me. I enjoyed meeting you in PA at Borders. Much Luv, Sistahs With A Vision

Summary: Sisters are taking care of business
Review: Rosalyn McMillan has done well in telling the tales of women dealing with their men, their work and their lives all together. She gives you up to five different stories in one novel. No only that, you see strong, black sister dealing with today's issues such as racism, job discrimination and interracial relationships. The characters speak through words with real life dialogue. You almost that you someone like Khan or Thyme.

Summary: If you are bitter and jaded, you will LOVE this book!
Review: The author has finally found a vehicle to release her many years of pent up frustrations, jealousies and prejudices. The only developed characters in this book are the oppressed, downtrodden and otherwise used and abused women. Everyone else, especially the men and anyone who is depicted as being white or non-black is represented as very one-dimensional. I will give Ms. McMillan some credit though. Her sex scenes were beautifully and erotically done with style. But the book ultimately fails by thinly disguising the authors extremely racist and sexist viewpoints towards non-blacks and men in general. Small-minded, angry black women will absolutely love this book.
