Summary: Wonderful and Charming! A Must Read!
Review: Adam's Fall is the sequel to Fanta C. It is an inspiring book about Adam Cavanagh, the hotel owner, and Lilah. Daredevil Adam becomes paralized in an accident, and Lilah becomes his physical therapist. The first reason that I loved this book was that it was nothing like its prequel. Fanta C and Adam's Fall have completely different story lines, but are both wonderful stories. This book was also amazingly written as Ms. Brown has to create a character who is part helpless but still oozes sexuality and has a comanding presence. There was also a little suprise thrown in that really pleased me, but i had no inkling what was coming. I won't give any hint as to what it was, so you will have to read the book to find out. I recommend this book highly and wish you happy reading.

Summary: The ONLY good book by this author...
Review: Adam's Fall is the story of Adam Cavanaugh, an extremely wealthy hotel owner who falls while on an outing with two friends. He is the only survivor and while doctors say he'll walk again Adam doesn't believe it and has went into a dark, depressive mood. He needs the best of physical therapists to help him walk again. Enter Lilah Mason, sister of Elizabeth, one of Adam's closest friends. Lilah is the best physical therapist and goes to Hawaii to help Adam walk again, even though she can't stand him.

This was a very good read. The story moved along at a quick pace. With the hard cover edition reaching just over 200 pages the story was told well, in what seemed to be just the right amount of pages. Nothing was lost in this story and it didn't drag along. The characters were very entertaining. Adam was well written in the fact that he's angry and scared of the possibility that he'll never walk again. Lilah is a fun, sassy woman who knows her mind and speaks it. She comes across as very strong and independent. Pete, Adam's housekeeper, was a delight. His character added charm to the book. Then the evil girlfriend, Lucretia von whats her name, added just the right amount of conflict for a love triangle. She is definitely the character you'll love to hate. She gets her just desserts in the end though.

Adam's Fall was a good, entertaining book to read. It is so good it can be read in just a day or two. Very well written and easy to read. Great job Ms. Brown.

Summary: Adam's Fall
Review: As a handicapped person, and a writer, I applaud Ms. Brown's understanding of the emotional problems we have. In this book and in Eloquent Silence, she shines. Her protagonist in Adam's Fall both loathes his weakness, and uses it for his own justification for doing nothing about it. Its a thing we all do. But as Adam realizes, we can make our misfortune our life, or we can get on with the business of living, and in this book Adam gets on with it with the help of his physical therapist, albeit an unconventional one. It is very easy to lean on a handicap. People feel sorry for us and thus give us 'a break' for normally unacceptable behavior, but Adam realizes that this is not an honest way to live. Nor the way he wishes to live. Physical therapy is very painful, very stressful, and a struggle of monumental work. I wish more authors would use this as a platform to tell a story, be it romance, mystery or whatever: The handicapped do have love lives too.
Bravo, Ms. Brown, over the years you have blossemed into one hell of a writer.

Summary: The ONLY good book by this author...
Review: I honest to goodness don't know how most of SB's books get published. She's proof I guess that publishers settle for writers with very little talent. Readers shouldn't settle for bland, uninspiring writing when there are so many wonderful books out there! Though I'm sure she possesses it, this author uses no imagination when creating her stories - stories that have very similar plots. ADAM'S FALL, while predictable, just had the magic touch. It was enjoyable. I wish all SB's books could be so memorable.

Summary: A great book.. Lots of fun!
Review: I thought "Adam's Fall" was an awesome read! It was witty, clever and well written. I, personally, was glad Sandra Brown didn't go into so much depth as she does is some of her other books and I really don't think you can compare this one to a book such as "Mirror Image". They are two completely different stories. It was nice to sit down for a couple of hours and concentrate solely on Lilah and Adam and their blossoming love. The passion was hot, the dialogue overflowing with excitement and feeling... There wasn't a dull moment. I'd recommend this book to anyone!

Summary: Sandra Brown at her best
Review: I've read at least two thirds of all of Sandra Brown's books and I have yet to see one that is better than Adam's Fall, although The Switch comes pretty close.

The elements are nothing new - two people who can't be in the same room without arguing are thrown together. Adam has no choice but to bear with Lilah's presence as his physiotherapist while he tries to regain the use of his legs after a mountain-climbing accident left him paralysed from waist down. And Lilah, bound to help Adam because of a promise she made to her sister, even as she tries to hide her attraction to him.

What makes the story worth reading is the way Sandra Brown captures the continuous tensions between the two, boiling below the surface - Adam as he comes to terms with his condition, and Lilah, determined to help Adam regain his confidence and the use of his legs.

The chemistry between Adam and Lilah just leaps out of the pages, especially when they finally decided to give in and listen to what their hearts have been trying to tell them for a long time.

I only wish this book was longer. I really did not want to let go of Adam and Lilah.

Summary: Refreshing
Review: I've recently become a devoted fan of Sandra Brown, and after reading this novel, I have yet to be let down. (Just to say, I would have given this novel a higher rating, but was unable to for the lack of half-stars.)

Summary: My first Sandra Brown

I loved the people in this story....although that one girl who came from Rome...the one who like wanted to kind of take controll over adam...she got on my nerves. I would for sure read another Sandra Brown book. I enjoy this author very much and hope to read more by her.
