Review: A good friend gave this tape series to me as a gift at a time when I was considering relocating from Cleveland to Chicago for a new job. I didn't listen to it at first as I was "too busy" with my move. It turns out that my new employer had sugar coated the position, and that it was nothing like it had been represented. Days into the job, I was depressed. I started listening to Schoeniger's tapes. And I loved it! Gary Schoeniger has a calm confidence that helped me to open my mind to a different approach, a new attitude and a better feeling about myself. I realized that it was my talent this new employer sought and that others would want it too. I decided that despite a lot of fear and anxiety, I would quit (after only 4 weeks) and market myself as a litigation consultant. Using Schoeniger's techniques, I started cold calling, and now I have a successful business working with companies on their business conflicts. I would never have taken such a risk had I not listened to "Starting From Scratch". It is by far the most useful and practical of the "self help" works I have ever experienced, mostly because Schoeniger helps you with an actual plan for action.
