Rating: Summary: another hit! Review: although not JM's readers' favourite title.. this book proved itself to be a tale.. that is still worthy of the JM name.. a book that tops the genre..and a worthwhile read... maybe not as good as JM's other works...but this book is one of the better books you will find in the romance section!
Rating: Summary: disappointing despite some wonderful scenes Review: I am a fan of Judith McNaught and I buy each one of her books in hardcover because I just can`t wait for the mass market edition. This one was a real disappointment. Most of the teenage stuff was a shoddy rewrite of "Double Exposure", the novella about Corey, I wasn't sure if some wasn`t actually the same word for word - it felt like the focus was on Corey, not Diana. The "connections" between the scenes were weak, though there were some great scenes for which I just love McNaught: the ball, the lunch with the whole family, her desperate trip to his country house, pure McNaught, beautiful, heartfelt, a delight. And then again, in between, no strong pacing, just fill-ins. I read that she had some hard times privately during the writing, which brought a lot of delays in publishing. Well, my advice would be to take even longer and bring us a wonderful book, instead of letting outside pressures dictate when a novel should come out. Please, Judith, take your time for the next one!
Rating: Summary: I loved it, made me laugh out loud Review: I read Remember When in one day, I couldn't put it down. I usually only read horror novels but Remember When was really good. The ay she started out as Diana and Corey being kids made the book that much better. I felt like i knew the people she was talking about because she gave so much information. Remember When was the first book that has ever made me feel emotional, I laughed and got angry when things weren't going right. Its a deffinently a must read!!!!
Rating: Summary: Remember when McNaught used to......... Review: write romances of quality? This definitely was a major disappointment for me! I used to read romances till I got tired of all the same plots with their oh-so predictable endings. I decided to give romance another try when "Remember When" came into the market. Needless to say, it will be a long long time till I pick-up another romance novel. This book was such a big disappointment!
Rating: Summary: Remember When-- Review: I used to be Mcnaught #1 fan and would buy anything with her name on it. But after reading this disaster, not anymore!!! Next time I'll take take the book out of my library first to make sure its worth buying.
Rating: Summary: Really good, I read it in a day!!! Review: I found the book humorous at time and it kept my attention...so much so, I couldn't put it down... Judith is great!
Rating: Summary: One of McNaught's Worst... Review: Judith McNaught, an excellent romance writer, has kept us on tenterhooks, waiting for the next novel to come out. Only the wait turns out to be for nothing. Remember When is mediocre compared to that of her other novels. The book pays to much detail to the relationship between younger Diana and Cole which takes up half the novel. This is unnessary since their budding friendship could be summed up in two chapters. The end left me lacking and unsatisfied. This book is not one of her better ones...
Rating: Summary: Not up to Judith McNaught's usual standard. Review: Judith McNaught is not one of the more prolific writers, so when she has a new novel come out (in paperback) I eagerly buy and read it. While many people felt it was not worth the price of a hardcover, I thought it was not even worth the price of a paperback. Ms McNaught told us more about the main character's family than I really cared to know in the first place, but then she kept telling us more and more of the same information about this family. When she finally got the two supposedly main characters together, almost three forths of the way through the book, they fall into bed togther and guess what? All their problems were solved! I think McNaught developed the relationship between Diana and her stepsister more than the relationship between Diana and Cole, the hero. And frankly, by the time she finally got Diana nad Cole together, I really didn't care any longer.
Rating: Summary: Exciting, Hilarious, A must for anyone who has a Sister Review: This is one of Judiths' best books, I laughed a lot The author makes you really feel as though you are there especially during Corey's adventure with the bear. Cole is the essence of what every woman wants there man to be like. Gallant, strong and sure of themselves, yet completely and uterly in love.
Rating: Summary: Another fantastic McNaught book,at very least a 10!! Review: Judith McNaught has once again given us another book we can laugh and cry,and have a really good time with. Her characters Diana Foster and Cole Harrison or both sensitive and believable. The story of their relationship is fun and entertaining. A good book to curle up with on any weekend.
