Summary: Completely unrealistic
Review: First, the positive comments. The book is a quick read, and the plot twists kept me very interested in this book.

On the negative side, comparing this to Grisham (as the teasers do) is laughable. It's simply not that quality. Second, as a law school graduate, it is incomprehensible that these characters wouldn't have known basic ethical and legal issues which the characters failed to recognize, which any first year law student knows. That made the book highly unrealistic to me, and painful to read.

Summary: Great Book....
Review: I read this book a while ago...probably about a year ago or so... anyway this book was excellent! The characters were very believable and the plot was great. I have to say that I tried to read Meltzer's the Tenth Justice...and I just could not pick it up and read as well as this one. I am not sure if it is because i was too busy at the time...or what the deal was...maybe I will try it again sometime.

Summary: Great Book
Review: This was one of the better books that I have read. I loved the characters and the story was never dull. It kept you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next. A definite page turner which I would recommend.

Summary: Couldn't Pick It Up!
Review: I guess I should say right up front that I didn't read the entire book... I just couldn't do it. I am an avid reader, and lately I've read several books I couldn't put down - most recently, two by Nelson DeMille. After forcing myself through several chapters of Dead Even, I decided that life is too short to read a bad book when I don't have to. So, I bought another couple of DeMille books.

Summary: a stinker
Review: this book was written in a week because the plot sucks

Summary: Great sophomore performance!
Review: This was a great book. The main characters are unique and interesting. The story and plotting were fresh and inventive. The tension throughout was palpable and continuous. My only complaints are a lackluster climax and occasionally insipid dialogue. This book was a much more enjoyable read than the author's previous novel "The Tenth Justice".

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An excellent story with stunning originality
Review: This is a great story. You never know what happens next after you've already been shocked repeatedly.

Summary: This book was a compelling and unpredictable plot.
Review: Dead Even is a unpredictable plot with non stop suspense. One your eyes strain to read till you reach the very end. The chain of unrelated events eventually tieing into one another made it a well written book. With alittle bit of accidental romance, murder, and struggle put together to be the perfect book.

Summary: Excellent book
Review: I am not quite done with this book...almost..but this book is excellent!!! The story line, although sometimes a little dramatic...it keeps you wondering what will happen next...if you are looking for a book that will grab and not let you go...try this one..what do you have to loose....but your mind???

Summary: great fiction!! kept me reading!!
Review: I bought this book at the airport in Seattle, WA. I had a non stop flight to Washington,DC and was hoping to find a book to occupy my mind. Well, I read non stop during the entire flight. I kept thinking what a great movie this would be. The plot was fast paced. Some things seemed far fetched, but this is fiction, right. Very entertaining! I hope to see this book become the basis of a movie in the near future.
