Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: This book was just as great as the other 19 Cat Who... books Review: This book was another proof that Lilian Jackson Braun is a fabulous author. Koko and Yum Yum team up with Qwill to solve another baffiling mystery in Pickax (pop. 3,000). I recomend this as an addition to anyone's book collection. Vive the Cats!!!
Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: The Cat Who Sang For The Birds has hit a wrong note. Review: This current book of MS Braun's is different from her past works. This endeavor has a different feel to it. There is a dark and brooding mood. Gone are the older characters that imparted the charming small town feeling. The bantering between Polly and Quill is missing, as are the cats. Though they do make an appreance, most of the cat in The CAT Who.. is absent. Gone also, is the humor. If you had to skip one book in the series, this would be the one. It does not continue the story line in the old familary way. Reread one of the first three books, and wait for the next one.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: One of the best books I've ever read! Review: This is a wonderful read! Anyone who like cats will really enjoy Lilian's books. I have read this book and "The Cat Who Tailed a Thief" and I've enjoyed them both. I can't wait to obtain ALL Lilian Jackson Braun's books about these wonderful cats! The main reasons I like these books are 1) I like adventures and mysteries concerning animals and 2) The way she makes KoKo so mystical and wise makes me realize I'm not the only person who believes cats DO have some kind of unworldly knowledge. Thank you Lilian Jackson Braun! I just wish I didn't have to wait for her books to get on the clearance rack.

Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: Disappointing Introduction to "The Cat Who" Books Review: This is my first "Cat Who" book, and I must say I was disappointed. There didn't seem to be much of a plot and there was no really no character build-up. There was no remorse over the 'Butterfly Girl' because we never really got to know her and the rogue boyfriend didn't seem to fit with any of the rest of the book. The cats were mentioned very little and the 'psychic' powers of Koko - while interesting - were more than implausible with the 'WEST' deductions. All-in-All it was an "I must finish this book because I paid for it." experience. Based on the comments of other reviewers - this was not Braun's best - So I may still give one of the earlier books a try.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: I love the way people in the town care for each other! Review: This is one of my favorite "Cat Who" books! I loved everything about it! I particularly enjoyed the spelling bee, since I was in a big one as a child, and to this day, I love spelling big words, and catching spelling errors in books! I also like the way people take care of each other, like how Celia cooks for Jim, and how Jim took the two stray cats to live at the library. Besides being an extreme bibliophile, I am also an animal lover, and wish the libraries around here had resident cats! I just love the way Koko helps solve crimes, with his subtle clues! I would like to hear from anyone who likes gentle crime stories like these!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: What can I say but PURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRFECT! Review: This is the perfect blend of people, cats, and mystery. Braun has gotten a style that is reminiscent of Agatha Christie and Ellery Queen while treating all of us cat lovers to two of the smartest cats on earth. All I cat say is don't start it until you can read it straight through because you will not want to put it down.
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Not her strongest Review: This look into the continuing saga of qwill and kok left a taste like cotton candy, glad it's there, but it melts away real fast. A rambling series of subplots, with the most effective and continuous being the the 'Spell Game' makes the book disjoint and adds to a feeling of being put together from a computer based story plot program. Where are the CATS? Where are the loveable and curious Moose County folks. What purpose did butterflies, art center, and the rest of the _dressings_ really serve. Yes, I'll continue to read them, and buy them, but this was made me go baclk and read the first three again, just to remember how good Braun can really be.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Koko Fever Review: When Koko catches spring fever. You know Qwill's going to be hip deep in a new mystery. Qwill, Koko, and Yum Yum, along with their friends and eneimies, ( Mainly the crooked county commish.) Greet spring with the rumors of a new cemetry; built on the site of a possible arson, and a definite mystery. Ms. Braun once more returns us to Moose County, with another multiple mystery, and a case of spring fever. A good read for those damp april days.
