Summary: It's a must read if you are a die hard Judith McNaught fan.
Review: I have always loved Judith McNaught. Night Whispers was predictable and drawn out in the beginning and rushed towards the end. I was disappointed in the book but it did have its good moments. It was not the book to cuddle up with in front of a fire but you did not want to put in down either. I was hoping that towards the end it will pick up but it didn't. But since I was such a fan of hers, I am eagerly awaiting her next book.

Summary: It was up to her usual standard - fantastic.
Review: Since the release 2 years ago of Remember When I have been impatiently awaiting another book from Ms. McNaught. And Night Whispers was worth the wait, it kept me on the edge of my seat. It left me dying with curiosity though. Are Sara and Jess going to get together in a sequel, I hope so.

Summary: An unsatisfactory end to a great beginning
Review: For several years I have been a Judith McNaught fan and have read every one of her publications. As usual, they style of her writing was fantastic, bringing her characters to life and making you feel a part of the story. Unfortunately, it seems as if she started this novel with one destination in mind, somehow got lost enroute, and decided that an alternate destination would work just as well!! For instance, Paul Richardson seemed to take an extraordinary interest in Sloan Reynolds (above and beyond the call of duty) in the beginning of the novel, and for no apparent reason it was all business. Jess and Sara should have had their own story. Because I know what Judith McNaught is capable of, I would much prefer QUALITY over QUANTITY!! Fewer novels, with better developed storylines.

Summary: Great Book - Much more mature
Review: Ms. McNaught is obviously expanding her talents to reach a broader audience. I applaud her latest work. I don't think some of the other people that have reviewed this book are ready to expand their horizans. There are several well developed characters that maintain your interest in more than just the heroine that is the focus of the story. The mystery aspect of the story captured my interest while the romance captured my heart. These characters had flaws that made you want to know more about them. I am long-time reader of romances and I am enchanted with this mix or romance and mystery. Keep it up!!!

Summary: kept me reading
Review: I liked the book very much. From reading what others thought, it was not a great hit but I would recommend it. I do not like mysteries much, but this book had me guessing at who the killer was. I was a little dissapointed when the ending of the book did not include what happend to sara and Jessup. over all, worth reading.

Summary: NOT a must read!!
Review: What happened to J. McNaught? Is there another author using her name. This book was a police mystery with a little romance thrown in for good measure. Romance novel it was NOT! I love Judith McNaught, and have purchased ALL of her books, but I had to stop and look at the cover a couple of times to make sure I had the authors name right. The characters were not as bold or gripping as I was used to, and there were to many characters until at times I was confused as to who was who. The plot was weak coming from a romance novelists. The ending was incomplete, to many story lines were not closed. Usually in Ms. McNaught's books you are hooked from the first chapter. Ms. McNaught has a way with her writing that makes you laugh out loud, or cry silent tears with the characters as if you were there, and in the end feel triumphant and complete, but in this book, I finished it and felt empty. What a waste of my reading time. I kept waiting for it to get better, and half way through the book I almost put it down but was determined to finish what I started. I had waited for what seemed like years for this book, and was so disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone! Please Ms. McNaught go back to writing what got you your readers. If you want to attempt a different style of writing use another name. At this rate you will loose all of your loyal readers. I know I will be a little hesitant to purchase your next book. I have read all of your previous books at least twice, and I had to buy "Whitney My Love" again because I let a freind borrow it and she lost it. I didn't feel at ease until I had it again. "Night Whispers" doesn't even belong on the same shelf as your other books, and WON'T be on mine.

Summary: A Big Flop ! =(
Review: I was really disappointed with this book. It cost a lot and then I was just frustrated at the end. It doesnt have the same magic and wonderful creativity as the past books of Ms Mc Naught. the likes of Something Wonderful, Whitney my Love, Paradise, Perfect, Almost Heaven are the best but this Night Whispers ? I wont recommend it.... **Sigh**

Summary: I couldn't put it down
Review: I have read all of McNaught's books and loved most of them. This one was no exception. Sloan and Noah were the perfect heros, and their story was written beautifully. Sloan was strong, smart, kind and funny, and Noah was fun to read about. Noah's father and sister were also enchanting and delightful. I agree with the readers that thought the ending wasn't satisfying.

Summary: A dissapointed reader!
Review: I'm glad I borrowed the book from the library!! What a waste of time. Poor characters, too many characters, weak plot, weak ending, (what happened to Sara & Jessup at the end?? This novel was nothing compared to any of her previous novels. There were many misprints as well, characters were getting mixed up. You know what I mean when you read the book.
