Summary: Great book
Review: This fourth installment of Brian Jacques' Redwall series is very good. From the beggining all the way to the end is non-stop adventure. You never know what will happen next and once you do find out, the story takes another turn. This is what makes this book great. So if you haven't read Taggerung yet, what are you waiting for? Go out and get this great book!

Summary: What happened
Review: I was shocked at this book. while it has the conflict and choices that made the other books so good it never drew me in. I continued reading in the hope of a great conclusion but Russano arrives and the vermin are chased away. No grand confrontation just a bunch of cowards running away, I do like all the other redwall books and have read each one 7-8 times I look forward to the future.

Summary: Zann Juskarath Taggerung!
Review: This book is another great book in the Redwall series. It is about an otter, Deyna, whose father was killed because he was to be the Taggerung in a vermin clan who was prophecied by members of the Juskarath. He grows up to be the cleverest, fastest and strongest beast in the clan.
The abbybeasts morn over the loss of the newborn and his father. Deyna's sister and mother are devistated at the news that Deyna and his father will never return.
Later, Taggerung grows up, but doesn't want to kill anybeast. The clan wants to now kill him and place anybeast who kills him as the new Taggerung. Deyna meets new friends and dangers on his travels to find the place he was born. Redwall!!!
Any Redwall fan won't be disappointed by this book

The Taggerung, by Brian Jacques, is a very thrilling book. One of the later books in the Redwall series; this is one of the best of his books, in my opinion. Jacques spins a great tale in this book, as do the others. Deyna, the baby otter, is taken by the Juskarath, a clan run by Sawney Rath, who roam the shores raiding and killing for life. After 15 seasons of living with the Juskarath, Tagg realizes that he does not belong with Juska, he has to good a heart for a life of killing innocent creatures. When Sawney asks Tagg to skin a fox alive, Tagg reaches a breaking point, he steals Sawney's knife and runs away. He meets Nimbalo and they travel to Redwall, tracking 5 vermin of the old clan. He meets the 5 vermin at Redwall for the final battle. He takes an arrow in the chest, but has to be taken to the otter fixer Rukky Garge, no one knowing if he will live or not. When Ruggan Bor brings his Juska clan to Redwall, no one can be sure that the safety of Redwall is assured.
Meanwhile, while Tagg is roaming, back at the Abbey, Cregga Badgermum and Old Hoarg lead Deyna's sister, Mhera, on a merry chase. They set the trail to see if she was fit to become Abess of Redwall. While Nimbalo is off chasing a rat, something happened before anything else that stunned everyone.
This book is an amazing book, which, I think is one of the greatest young adult/children book. Jacques has an amazing quality in writing, a style that sticks out among writing. He does it so that alternating chapters are bad guys and good guys. In my opinion it is a great book. This is a book that gives you sadness, joy, suspense, and adventure. I personally think that this is the best book in the series, so far. If you love a book that has all different types of emotions, this is the series for you. This series starts with the book Redwall, that is the book that you should read if you want to start this series.This book is great. On a scale of 1 to 5, 1 being horrible and 5 being absolutely the best, I give it a 5. I like it so much that I have reread the book around 3 times. I would really recommend this book to anyone who is board and needs something time consuming, or anyone who loves adventures. The Redwall series offers many books and quite a bit of merchandise. You can get posters, pens, and all sorts of stuff. I really recommend that you start this series and read this book.

Summary: Best one yet!
Review: Taggerung is the best Redwall book yet (although I haven't read them all) It is about the Juskarath tribe and how they think the newborn baby otter, Deyna, is their Taggerung which is a mighty warrior. They kidnapp him from Redwall and raise him. 15 years later however, Tagg (Deyna) realizes that he does not belong in that tribe and goes off to find his true family and the truth about where he came from.
This book has many unexpected twists that make you want more and also make you feel sad when it ends. Also it's nice to see a villian with alittle compassion in him like Sawney Rath was with Tagg. Every Redwall fan and even any person that can read should have this book.

Summary: Taggerung Doesn't Cut It
Review: I have read all the Redwall Books except Triss, and I'll have to say that Taggerung wasn't one of my favorites. First of all, Sawney Rath didn't have the true qualities of a villain. A true villain would be someone like Tsarmina(Mossflower). I'm not even sure that he was the villain, because the story turned when he was murdered by Antigra's son. Then there was the amber fox, who was little more than a threat to Deyna. Deyna's journey was the only enjoyable part in this story. If you're looking for more of a bloodbath, try The Long Patrol.

Summary: Taggerung
Review: This book takes place in Mossflower Woods surrounding Redwall and the coasts near a great lake. Denya (a strong, and kind hearted otter) is stolen from his family by the tribe of Sawney Rath, a terribly ruthless and murderous gang of stoats, ferrets, rats and weasels. As he gets older, Denya realizes he, as an otter, has no place among such uncivilized creatures. He runs away and embarks on a perilous journey, meets new friends and new foes, all to find his real home at Redwall Abbey. All the while he is hunted by a small group of Sawney's clan who were sent to retrieve Denya's head. Will he be able to find his past, or will Sawney's clan catch-up with him'?
Some other books by Brian Jacques are: Redwall, Martin the Warrior, Mossflower, Mariel of Redwall, The Pearls Of Lutra, The Bell Maker, Mattemeo, Salamandastron, The Outcast of Redwall, The Long Patrol, The Legend of Luke, Marlfox, Lord Brocktree, Triss, and The Flying Dutchman. Brian Jacques style is much different to any of the other authors of animal fantasies. It takes about 150 pages to get into the action. Brian, on the other hand, puts the reader right in the middle in the action. That is what makes him such a terrific author.

Review: Taggerung is the highlight in the Redwall series to me, so far. I have not read all of the books yet, but out of the ones I have read so far, Taggerung is the best. Buy it and read it a million times.

Taggerung, written by Brian Jacques, was an amazing book. The wonderful book was about an otter who discovers his destiny. The otter Denya, is born in a tribe of villians seeking for horror in people's eyes. The leader of the tribe, Sawney Rath, heard of a legend about a creature they call Taggerung. This Taggerung, was the cream in the cream filled donut, and he was told to be the most cunning, smart, and agile animal.Denya is the Taggerung, but he has a slight problem about being a Taggerung, he rarely ever kills and he's to pure of heart. Later, Tagg abandoned his old crew to find new crew. Before Tagg banished himself, he slayed the leader Sawney Rath in an epic duel. Tagg made a journey, and picked up a new friend named Nimbalo the slayer. Tagg finds out latter that Nimbalo's dad was slain by Gruven Zann Juskarath, so Tagg dedicates himself to defeat the slayer.
I really enjoyed this book a lot. All of the characters in the book have very different personalitties. Some of the creature's personalities are very strange unique and different. My favorite character in this book is Tagg's. Tagg could be a strong as five elephants, but have a lion's heart. Tagg dosen't live for suffering or pain, he lives to give and protect."Why had he not slain his adversary, or at least crippled him?"
Tagg isn't the only reason I like this book, I also enjoy how two different stories in one book. The book keeps switching off from on part of the book to a whole new part. One part of the story takes place in Redwall, but the other halph of the story takes place at Tagg's camp. This animal named Mhera has dreams of Tagg, and Tagg has dreams of Martin. Martin is an old warior hero for Redwall. Some of the characters in the book believe that his spirit still lives on in the abbey. Martin runs to the abbey for some reason on his journey, and the two stories intertwine.""I knew it deep inside me, ever since I saw him yesterday. This is my son!
This whole book written by Brian Jacques was a great book. In this book I had some highlights in my mind. I enjoyed the part when Mhera found out who her brother was. I would probably be excited if I found a long lost brother. This book Taggerung, was very amazing to me with it's amazing characters and intersecting stories.
