Summary: pretty good
Review: This is the first book I've read by Sheldon, and it has made me want to read more. Overall, it was a pretty good book. It did have a few good surprises and was quite interesting.

Summary: Time to give it up, Sidney!
Review: Sidney Sheldon has obviously done good work before. One may sneer at the work of "popular authors" in the same way as one may denigrate the artistry of popular Broadway musicals; however, if something is popular with a huge number of people, chances are that it has something going for it. I find this to be true of most Broadway shows I've seen. I've enjoyed every hugely popular show, even Cats, in spite of my highbrow instincts.

With popular novelists, however, they invariably reach a point where they begin to believe that anything they choose to write deserves popularity. Such is the case of Tell Me Your Dreams. Every character is two-dimensional, even the heroine and her two cardboard alter-egos. The plot is extremely put-downable, to say the least. The multiple-personality theme has worked well for other writers; unfortunately, Mr.Sheldon forgets that research is only one aspect of a successful novel. A good story, well written, is the most important. A real editor would have sent this one back to the author accompanied by recommendations for improvements. Unfortunately, when an author with Mr. Sheldon's track record submits any sort of manuscript, he gets the rubber stamp approval from everyone at the publishing house. After all, he's "popular".

I suggest that Mr. Sheldon enjoy his hard-earned wealth and stay away from the keyboard. He has definitely worn out his franchise with this one. To be fair, this one is not nearly as horrible as James A. Michener's last novel. If Sidney Sheldon stops now, he can avoid that ignominy.

Summary: Surprising & Witty
Review: Tell Me Your Dreams was in my opinion, somewhat a good, and gripping thriller. It is amazing what one can do with research on the human psyche! It did have me gasping with surprising twists & turns. A good book to cuddle up in bed with.

Summary: Don't judge Sheldon by this one
Review: I had read just about every Sidney Sheldon I could get my hands on. Most of them are fantastic, can't put down books. So when I saw this one in the new release section I grabbed it. It was a disappointment to say the least. Unfortunately I caught a glimpse of the Acknowledgements page at the BEGINNING of the book. Just that quick glance told me exactly what the book was about. So none of the plot twists were surprising or even interesting. If you want the best of Sidney Sheldon, go for Stranger in the Mirror, The Other Side of Midnight, Rage of Angels, Master of the Game.

Summary: worst ever
Review: Normally I can't wait to read a Sidney Sheldon, now I don't know if I ever want to read one agian. I found 'Tell me your dreams' very dissapointing. I must say its very easy to read but half way thrue the book the plot is already given a way, and it is not even a very good plot. This is book is nothing compared to 'If tommorow comes', my favorite.

Summary: This is one good book
Review: This is one of "THE BEST" book I have ever. It is through this book that that I came to know about "MULTIPLE PERSONALITY DISORDER". There are about a thousand people suffering from this disease. Some of them even have more than 300 alters. This is a must read book. So go get it!

Summary: Awesome
Review: A master piece, a true psychological thriller. Sydney Sheldon at his best.

Summary: Dreams turned into NIGHTMARES... for the reader
Review: I don't blame Sidney Sheldon because he's old. I wouldn't say that his imagination is not the same as it was once. No. I'd never do such a thing. What I'd say is that Sidney, at almost 83 years old, is like some authors that don't write more because they want to keep standards. Sidney Sheldon loves to say on interviews that he only publishes one book every two years to keep his standards. And I think that that's what ruining him. Why can't he write one or more books every year, like almost everyone else? He says also that he can do it. He just doesn't. When it comes to the TELL ME YOUR DREAMS case, this just gets more clear. The plot is ridiculous, the main characters are just absurds and by the end your wish is to tear the book in a million pieces. I'm probably exagerating things a little, but what I mean is that buy this book is not worthwhile, except you're a huge Sidney Sheldon's fan, which is my case. Getting closer to the point: if Mr. Sheldon started to write more books per year, certainly like two and two results in four his books would start to be one more diferentiated to the other, and as a consequence, he would learn the craft again and write wonderful books as he did in the past. Unless he's doing like some authors that are writing books to be published after their death, something I sometimes wonder... But if he's not, what I'd say is: please Mr. Sheldon, publish books more often and be again what you once was, because write books like the terrible TELL ME YOUR DREAMS is not fair with your readers.

Summary: Very, Very Good
Review: The topic of this book is very popular nowadays, but it is still an interesting one. I won't tell you all about. You just have to read the book yourself! It's very good !

Summary: dont tell me your dreams!
Review: I somewhat hesitated to write a bad review about one of my best authors but this book is a real disaster. For a first time reader of Mr. Sheldon's books it might be rewarding but for a long time reader it wreaked of disappointment. Hope the next one is much better.
