Summary: NOT THE TYPICAL SHELDON STYLE
Review: THIS BOOK SEEMED LIKE SHELDON HAS LOST IT A BIT. NOT AS DEEP, AND WAS RATHER A VERY SIMPLE BOOK, NO BIG SURPRISES! I DO BELEIVE SHELDON IS 81 YEARS OLD NOW, GUESS HE IS SLOWING DOWN.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Blown me away !
Review: Very thrilling. did not have any knowledge about multi personality disorder until i came across this book. Full paced till the right very end.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Not bad but somethings left out
Review: Ever since Morning, Noon and Night Sheldon seems to be getting down. I was hoping he do come out with something really better than his last two works, but maybe everybody were having high expectation of him that's why the disappointment was that great. Hope he has better ideas to keep his fans bind to their seats. Overall, Tell Me Your Dreams is really better than the last two, is worth your money!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Very good. Never thought it would end the way it did!
Review: This is not a typical Sidney Sheldon novel, that you could sort-of predict the ending. I was very surprised! I loved the book, just like I love ALL of Sidney Sheldon's novels. Couldn't put it down! I didn't figure out that the three women were the same person until the author spelled it out in the story. I recommend buying the book.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: A Dissapointing Read
Review: Sheldon should have "retired" from writing after masterpieces like Memories of Midnight and A Stranger in the Mirror. This is because his subsequent novels from "The Stars Shine Down" onwards, have been nothing but huge dissapointments. He uses the same formulae for every book, but they have become somewhat stale and tired. The literary language he uses is limited, prefering to use short sentences and simple words. I think even a primary/grade 3 student could read and review his book easily. "Tell Me Your Dreams" is no different. The storyline is so thin and predictable. Apart from the rather shocking revelation on who the murderer was (before you even finish half the book), you just know what's going to happen to all the main characters after that. The main character, Ashley Patterson has MPD and is accused of murder, but her character is not well developed, and you hardly emphatise with her situation for find yourself rooting for her. After "Tell Me Your Dreams", I must say I've truly had enough of Sheldon's style of writing, and am giving up on him for good. For a good mystery novel, turn to Scott Turow or Steve Thayer - their plots are meatier, the characters more believable and real.

Summary: Sidney is losing his touch, but still worth reading
Review: This is book is highly predictable and after 75 pages or so, the end is very clear. This book could have made more readable, by adding more research material on the subject of MPD. Still worth reading. Do not buy, but borrow and read.

Summary: Clever. Very Clever.
Review: Tell Me Your Dreams was the first book by Sidney Sheldon I've ever read. I have to say, it was very clever....I loved all of the characters, especially Toni. This book was an easy read. I admit, the part about her father was a typical theme. But, I do think that the scenes with and about the mother were a very good touch, clever. I really enjoyed this book, it was an easy little book to read. I have to say though, I have some questions about the end. Anyways, If you're going on a plane ride, or a trip buy this book and read it on the way. You'll love it

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Slightly unpredictable
Review: I thought this book was very good. I was continuously surprised at all its twists and turns. I couldn't put it down!

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Predictable, shallow - what happened to the REAL S.Sheldon??
Review: WHAT A TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT. I haven't read a Sidney Sheldon novel for a few years - I saw this at the library (thank goodness I did not spend my hard earned money on it)and thought "great - a new S.Sheldon novel". But was I ever disappointed! I had it figured out almost from the very start. I must echo all of your other 1 & 2 star reviewers - this was so elementary I could not believe I was reading Sidney Sheldon. His earlier works were superb - this was trash. No depth - short choppy sentences - and so predictable. I had to force myself to finish it - just in case there was going to be a big twist at the end. Sidney - what happened to you?

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Not a typical Sidney Sheldon Novel
Review: This particular SS book is not one that I would recommend. I contend that Memories of Midnight was the last book that Sidney Sheldon actually wrote. Everything after that book was penned by someone using SS ideas. I believe that Tell Me Your Dreams was written many years earlier. See page 201 in the hard cover edition. Even though this setting is in the present, the piece of equipment named on the aforementioned page is from the past, thus substantiating my point. I completed the book only because I had started reading it.
