Summary: Did Mr.Sheldon use a ghost writer???
Review: I kept checking the cover of the book to check the author's name! Did Mr. Sheldon use a ghost writer? What a disappointment! Not at all in keeping with Mr. Sheldon's usual great style and superb character development.

Summary: Sheldon Wrote This Garbage???
Review: Let me start out by saying that I have DEVOURED every Sidney Sheldon novel I have ever picked up. His work usually draws me in and doesn't let go until well after I've finished the book.

This book, however, was a HUGE disappointment. He usually has such rhythm and such wonderful character development, but this one just fell flat. The characters were predictable...hell, the entire book was predictable. It was almost a non-book.

It was bad. Absolutely the worst thing Sheldon has ever written. The ending left me feeling gypped, and compelled me to go online and trash the book.

For anyone new to Sheldon's work, check out RAGE OF ANGELS instead...or anything else he's written. He's a great author (usually).

Summary: Great fast-paced story
Review: I really enjoyed this book. I had a hard time putting it down. It moved along very quickly (like all Sheldon's books). The only disappointment was the ending. Usually the ending is a surprise, but not this time. Other than that, this book is very entertaining. Highly recommended.

Summary: Wins the predictability award
Review: Sidney has lost his edge. This book was so bad that if his name was not Sheldon, I can't believe it would have been published. This reader was always five steps ahead and it was so predictable, you couldn't believe it. Not to mention, but Sidney should brush up on his courtroom drama. Accustomed to Martini and Grishom, even a non-lawyer could tell that the court room scenes were amateurishly done. This was a very disappointing read.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent, as usual.
Review: Here's a note to all those who detracted this book in their damaging reviews: Find something else to do with your lives, if you don't like what an author writes, then don't read it, simple as that.

Now, as to my opinion of this book. I am an avid Sheldon fan, I've read all of his books at least twice (or in the case of "Master of the Game" many more times than that)because I simply adored the way in which they were written. This book is no different. It is excellent! Although it's a short book, it still makes for a whopping good read with that ever-so-famous wham-bang finale Mr. Sheldon is famous for. The reviewers can speak their opinions sincerely, whether they like this book or not. Yet do not go as far as insulting this man. As his fan, I am upset to see that so many reviewers can be utterly heartless and insensitive. Mr. Sheldon who celebrated his 82nd birthday this year, still shows he's at the top of his form with this book, and he only leaves me- as well as 285 million other reviewers- thirsty for more.

Summary: excellent story based on a woman sufering multipersonality
Review: Ashley Patterson's story is based on a real situation. Sydney Sheldon's style in telling this story has simply amazed me deeply. The end of the book is magnificient. I strongly recommend this book to everyone who is not got bored with lots of court scenes.

Summary: Fast and Furious
Review: I finished reading this book in less than one busy day. I was totally mesmerized by the story...however it was somewhat predictable...something I'm not used to with Sheldon's books. It was very well researched and the characters were quite convincing. I learned alot from this story, as I do with all of Sheldon's works.

Summary: Simply great.
Review: i really wonder why the other readers don't like the book. maybe because of the mildly nauseating content. nonetheless, the book has a major twist, typical of sheldon, and it is really a great book. recommended but the ending may be a bit, just a bit, disappointing.

Summary: Definately not his best.......
Review: I have loved all of the Sheldon books and always look forward to them. This book was just slower and never really grabbed me. I have found all of his books to be strictly for "entertainment" but this was at the bottom of the bunch for him.

Summary: First time and never again...
Review: Being in a hurry, I snagged this one because it was the #1 of some best seller list. My first and last Sheldon. The man may have had some great books but it's no excuse. If you take your work seriously, you'll forego deadlines (I'm guessing) and stay away from the predictable. In this case, Sheldon didn't. The story was well told but had the orginality you'd expect from an ABC made for TV movie. If you plan to buy your first Sheldon, do yourself a favor, buy another title and stay away from this one.
