Summary: A Phenominal Little Book!
Review: This book is a gem! It has best seller written all over it! It's one that every Christian should have in their library. I couldn't put it down and devoured it in a few hours time, and I'm a slow reader. After finishing it I left a message on the answering machine of the dear friend who gave it to me, thanking her for a wonderful Christmas gift. I was so overcome by it's impact that I broke down on the phone. She told me later that she was so touched by my message, she left it on her answering machine for a few days.Has a book ever left that strong of an impression on you? Do you want to do more for God and be more aware of His blessings in your life? Then this is the book for you. Since reading it, I have a keener awarness of His blessings than I had before. I pray the prayer every day and now I'm looking for the special gifts that He has for me each day. Are you missing out on blessing from God because you haven't asked? I picture God eagerly holding a bundle of gifts in his arms, just waiting for us to ask for them, but we feel like we're being self-centered so we don't. The problem is--it's our name that's on those gifts and He won't give them to us unless we ask. It's not like He's Santa Claus, no, but He's the giver of good gifts! This book will increase your awareness and your ministry potential if you apply the principles that are laid out. They're simple and easy to apply. After all, the prayer is a simple prayer. If every Christian would read this book and pray the prayer, we could make a larger impact on the world for Christ. Isn't that reason enough to read it?

Summary: The Prayer of Jabez
Review: I can only staet this very simply: If youwant ot see drastic change in your personal life or your churches life, then read this little book based on one tiny portion of scripture in a very odd area of scripture. If you can follow 2 Chronicles 7:14 (If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves), then this will only help deepen your attitude in prayer.

Summary: Life-altering experience
Review: I received this book as a gift from a very good friend. He told me to read it and not be surprised if God released countless blessings on my life. Even after that I was still shocked. I have been praying this prayer for about one month and I am amazed at what God has been doing for me. I encourage every one of you to read this book. But don't just read it. You must pray the Jabez prayer to see what God can do. It says in the Bible to "...ask and it will be given unto you..." Jesus stated that for a reason. I believe that if we ask for Him to bless us, we will be blessed far beyond our imaginations. Praise God for that friend that gave me this book, and God, I praise you even more for all you are doing!

Summary: The Prayer of Jabez
Review: I heard about this book at a business conference this past weekend. While visiting a friend on Monday, he had two of the books stacked on his desk when I reached for it exclaiming that I just heard about this book, he remarked, "It's yours, I bought 20 to give as gifts." Little did I realize that this book would force me from my bed at 2:15 a.m. to begin my own personal pilgrimage with the Jabez Prayer. I feel compelled to write this review so that others may be so touched by the power of the Holy Spirit available to those who read the book with an open and hungry heart. This is the kind of next level thinking, that is so greatly needed for the Church of Christ in this time of "next level living". Thanks to the author of the book, for being a true hammer in God's hand, because a mighty blow was struck with me. "Oh that God would bless me, indeed and enlarge my territory that Your hand would be with me and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain". All to His Glory, that I am even now experiencing the Victory.

Review: I came to this site because of an experience that I witness over the weekend. I attended a conference and the leader mentioned that people that had Jabez moments to come up and share. I had no idea what they were talking about. The people began to share, their extraodinary experiences after reading this book. I decided that I needed to investigate. that is why I logged in on Amazon.

Summary: Practical Guidance
Review: I have owned this book for about one month now. I pray this prayer almost every day. I have already seen God answer in unexpected and exciting ways. I wish I could share in detail what I have seen happen, but space is limited. If you really want to see God work through your life, I recommend this book. So many inspirational books tend to be ethereal, but not this one. The ideas presented within are very practical and produce results. But remember, it is not a formula, it is the heart that counts.

Summary: An Instant Life Changing Classic
Review: I have read so many great books and out of all of them this one rates as one of the very best. It is short and simple, to the point and life-changing! I found myself completely speechless when I finished it. So simple, yet so powerful!! Not since Brother Lawrence's book The Practice of the Presence of God has another book so grabbed me. I don't re-read books very often because I am always so busy reading new books, but this is one I will devour continually. It takes only an evening to read, it covers basically one verse in the Bible and yet it will keep you awake thinking and will change your life if you let it. If you make the Prayer of Jabez your prayer, I don't see how your life could ever remain the same. I am so thankful to Dr. Wilkinson for writing this book because I may never have even noticed this verse which is now posted in large letters next to my computer and emblazoned on my heart. Are you convinced yet that you need this book?

Review: I received THE PRAYER OF JABEZ as a Christmas gift, and in the hour that I read it I felt my life being changed. Since then, I've been praying the Jabez prayer, in form and function, since and I can't wait to see how God is going to work in my life and the lives of my friends and family. I highly recommend this book!

Summary: Couldn't put it down!
Review: "The Prayer of Jabez" was given to me today. I read it cover to cover, in one sitting. This little book is full of truth about the life of powerful prayer. I have experienced times in my life when there was no doubt that God was working through me, but I never found a common-thread connection between them. This book clearly lays out the Biblical principles of prayer that go hand-in-hand with such a God-filled life - a life that is undeniably used by God to touch the lives of others. Dr. Wilkinson has explained more clearly than anyone I have ever read, or heard, the application of these principles. Get this book, read it, apply it - you will never be the same. One additional note - "Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire" is an excellent book about the importance of prayer. "The Prayer of Jebez" is more about how to pray. To me, the "how to" book is far more valuable. I hope you will get this book and let God work through you as you have never allowed Him to before.
