Rating: Summary: More of the spin-off from the White House spin machine Review: Michael Isokoff is taking credit for many of the stories that were broken by other people. He is also spreading more lies about poeple out to "get" Clinton. A totally one-sided description of events. Take this book with a grain of salt.
Rating: Summary: Brilliant summation of a sad chapter in our nation's history Review: Uncovering Clinton is a fairminded assessment of Clinton's personal weakness, and how it made him vulnerable to the vindictive rightwing conspiracy. This is a must read for anyone who wants to understand the controversy that preoccupied the nation for more than a year. Isikoff clearly has all the the facts, and for the first time makes clear why the public should care about this. The book reads like a top notch novel, filled with suspense and intrigue.
Rating: Summary: A great read. Recomended to other readers! 5 stars Review: This is the best thing yet about the misadventures and mendacity of our esteemed president. Very suspenseful. Well done Mr. Isikoff. Definitely recomended!
Rating: Summary: Isikoff provides in-depth look at major scandal players. Review: After closely watching MSNBC for the term of the Clinton scandal, Isikoff's book intrigued me with the behind-the-scenes actions of MSNBC's Clinton commentators. I was fascinated to learn the deeds and background machinations of such TV guests as Bob Bennett, Joe Cammarata, and Susan Carpenter-McMillan.
Rating: Summary: The book is a tell-all: Clinton is one sorry, troubled man Review: The book is a fascinating read on a fascinating and troubling man. Unfortunately, Bill Clinton is a chronic liar who would sell his soul (and the soul of the nation) for his own political and personal gain. Insults aside, this book is the greatest one to date on the troubling Clinton presidency.
Rating: Summary: A intriguing look into Clinton's White House Review: Isikoff puts all the facts together to give the reader a complete picture of the scandals and politics inside the White House between 1992-1998. New and titilating details are revealed to my surprise after all the recent media coverage. Izzy does a great job helping us understand the truth about the President.
Rating: Summary: More World Weakly News than Newsweek Review: Poor Michael Isikoff couldn't get a job at the more presigious World Weakly News, instead Newsweek hired him at a bargain rate. And it shows in this boring, half witted book that was written for feebs.
