Summary: Nancy Shaw Has a Hit
Review: Those crazy adolescent sheep are at it again, and this time they've hotwired a jeep. Okay, let's be honest right from the start and admit that this one is not up to the standards set by "Sleep in the Deep," but that comparison doesn't seem to matter much to the legions of parents and kids who love the off-road sheep.

The plot is pretty basic. The characterizations are a thin. But every page rhymes, and that's got to count for something, and besides, it's a sit-com with sheep, not Hamlet. Overall, this reviewer gives three thumbs up for Sheep in a Jeep. I didn't give it five stars because my own little girl seems to be ignoring the book so far. Could be the other 500 books in her room are distracting her and she just hasn't noticed this one yet.

Summary: Sweet sheep
Review: We all love to read this book in the house. Everyone except the baby, whom we bought this book for! But shes still too young to get the great rhyming and silliness of the book. The misadventures of scatter brained sheep in a jeep. The drawings are "light" and not eyecatching, but the "storyline" is fun and sweet. I would recommend this for a much older child than 1-2 years old.

Summary: The best of the "sheep" books
Review: We have most of the "sheep" books and this one is definetly my daughters favorite - she's only 2 and she knows the entire thing by heart. It's short enough to keep they're attention, and cute enough to not get tired of it....our next in line favorite would probably be Sheep in a Shop. Try both!!

Summary: Fun for parents, too
Review: With a very young baby, you just want to convey that reading is fun. .... Fortunately, there's Sheep in a Jeep! This book is a kick. We have a big stack of books that we read to our daughter, but Sheep in a Jeep has a special place. The rhymes are entertaining, the story is amusing, and there's nothing condescending or cutesy about it. We've read it dozens of times and we still love it.
