Summary: EVEN BETTER THAN VINTAGE GRISHAM!
Review: WOW! THIS IS AWESOME! What a refreshing, absorbing legal thriller this is....it's so wonderful to read words that don't hiss with condescension but rather show respect for the reader's intelligence! I loved the characters, the plot and, of course, the locale since I live just down the road from Mike Daley in Larkspur! I sincerely hope that this will be the start of a series featuring these same marvelous characters. I hope that a movie deal is on the way so Sheldon can quit his day job and concentrate on writing full time! Kudos to his fantastic editor also as it's so wonderful to read a really fine book such as this without having to deal with grammatical errors or typos! Thanx for a very entertaining story and I sure didn't see that ending coming at all! I loved this book!

Summary: Special Circumstances - Special Book
Review: Send the kids to Grandma's for a sleep over, unplug the phone, find a comfortable chair and have some snacks nearby before you start to read this book, because after you start you won't want to put it down! Sheldon Siegel had me hooked from the first page of this wonderful new legal thriller. I find it hard to believe that this is actually his first published work. The plot is wonderful and constantly kept me guessing. The characters are vivdly brought to life by this author's marvelous descriptions. You love them or despise them, but you are never bored by them. I highly recommend this book to one and all. You will indeed have trouble putting it down. If you are like me, by the end you will anxiously be looking for the next novel by Sheldon Siegel.

Summary: Ending left me unfulfilled...really 3 1/2 stars.
Review: This books was definitely better than most "legal thrillers." I can't believe anyone figured this out by the middle of the book, because the "surprise" ending had absolutely nothing to do with the entire story; it really did not fit unlike Turow's Presumed Innocent which did. I agree with the reader that was mildly disappointed at the ending. I was shocked at the ending, but it left me a little empty.

Review: I couldn't wait to get home from work each night to read this book! "Special Circumstances" is a riveting thriller that keeps the pages turning in a hurry. There's no boredom with this book because the plot keeps twisting and turning, and you never know what will happen next. The author writes with a dry, sarcastic wit that made me laugh out loud several times. I can't wait for his next book!

Review: I have read all of Grisham's books except for one and this new author gives us an equally good read. The entire format of the book, from the font and print, chapter captions, to the story content is excellent. I never consider rating a book until the last page has been read and the ending in this one is superb and surprising. Good work Sheldon! I hope he is working on another title.

Review: This is a terrific book. The writing is clear, crisp and funny. The observations of a large law firm are right on. The murder mistery keeps you hanging until the very end of the book. I couldn't put it down. It was pure fun and intrigue. Kudos to the author on his first book. If you have any interest in the law or law firms, read this.

Review: I ordered this book after seeing the rave review from Amazon's editors and decided to take a chance. I liked all of Grishams books so I was interested to see what else was out there and boy am I glad I did! This book is a page turner from beginning to end with enough plot twists to keep everyone happy. Unlike other books of this genre the dialog was excellent throughout. I highly recommend this book and if you like Grisham you will love this book!

Review: This book is incredibly well-written and grabs your interest from the first page. I am an avid fiction/mystery/thriller fan and this is one of the best to come along in forever. I will even excuse the fact that I (disappointedly) knew who did it before the half-way point - that's how good it is. It was still an enjoyable read.

Review: I love legal thrillers. I read every one of them that I can get my hands on. Lately, however, I have found that even the authors that I have loved are not able to maintain consistancy. This book is a rare treat. I actually find myself trying to read it a little more slowly so that it doesn't end. Great story, great characters, great way with words. I have not enjoyed a book of this genre to this degree in a very long time.
