Summary: Boring...Sydney Sheldon at his worst.
Review: I've been slugging through this book for three weeks. The only reason I'm trying to get to the end of this book, is because I paid for it. The plot is weak, the characters shallow and unbelievable. The expressions used ("...bad hair day.", makes me think that Sheldon has been living as a recluse these past few years and is just completely out of touch. Very Disappointing.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: THE BEST LAID PLANS
Review: THE BEST LAID PLANS KEPT THE READER IN SUSPENSE, BUT IT MOVED TO SLOW . HOWEVER, SIDNEY SHELDON STILL MANAGES TO MAKE THIS BOOK CAPTIVATE THE READER AND BRING THE PLOT AND CHARACTERS TO LIFE.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: I think that the plot was rather boring, very unlike Sheldon.
Review: The story was rather boring and easy to figure out I think that this was one of Mr.Sheldon's worse novels to date.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Another blockbuster
Review: This is my second Sheldon novel and without a doubt the best yet. This was a totally believable plot with a surprise ending. I wonder if the author had a crystal ball when he wrote this. So many things happening (that actually did!) I'm sold on Sheldon.

This was a quick read and very entertaining

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Superficial and completely uninteresting
Review: There are so many things wrong with this book that the maximum word limit is not enough to go through them all. Sidney Sheldon's book starved me of any real character or emotional growth. Each chapter rushed through the story, skirting over any hint of character development. I couldn't identify with any of the characters or find them even plausible. Every character (and there were too many) was "attractive" or "intelligent" (or both)and the descriptions were cliched and lacked depth. The connections between the characters didn't mesh and I found it unbelievably shallow. In order to be fast paced, the author's sentences were short and bland telling the reader nothing new.It became an overview or like a synopsis. I haven't read all of SS books but i think, compared to his older novels, his books are turning into superficial drivel that Mills and Boon was created for. I don't know why i read this book and i have lost all respect for SS as a novelist.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: As always, Sidney Sheldon has done it again!
Review: Another great, hard-to-put-down book

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: His worst book
Review: Unfortunately this was a very superficial book. I didn't care about any of the characters & the plot was too shallow. What happen to his Master of the Game days? This I believe is his dullest book. Let's hope his next one is back up to standard!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Not The Best Laid Book
Review: I am a true fan of Sidney but this book was too shallow for my taste. In comparison with Bloodline or Master of the Game i would rate this book as a FAILURE but on its own its a light easy reading book.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: It is disappointing!
Review: The book has been given a wrong title! I don't find any 'plans' throughout the book except Leslie Stewart 's marriage to Chambers and her subsequent expansion of her news network. But are they 'best laid' plans? Dana Evans is the only 'likable' character in the book. But her story has no significant relationship to Leslie's revenge. Moreover, quite a siginficant portion of the book is about her. This makes her appearance quite awkward. Her story in fact deserves a separate title! To the contrary, the characters of Leslie Stewart and Oliver Russell are not in depth enough. On the whole, the story is shallow!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great Weekend Read
Review: I bought the book on a whim, and I am glad I did! The plot is fast-paced, with interesting (and maybe even surprising) turns thrown in. It may not be a "deep" book, and some of the drama is a bit contrived, but for an entertaining weekend read, this one is great!
