Rating: Summary: A feverish suspense with a mind-blowing end. Review: Though this is not one of my favourites of sheldon I think it deserves four stars for the unpredictable end. With only a few characters I think Mr. Sheldon has done a great job in misleading his readers ( I am sure most of them got stumped when the killer was unmasked). Dana was a good babe though her war coverage used to annoy me no end. I must say the main reason for liking the book was that sid for once doesnt pamper or should I say glorify the female character in the book. Three cheers for Leslie falling flat on her face!.
Rating: Summary: A must read for every Sheldon fan! Review: It is one of my favourite Sheldon novels. I am Croatian and I think it was great that Sheldon actually wrote about my country. I read some of the comments from Croatian readers and all I can suggest to them is to take the book as a book and not be offended by whether the information is accurate or not. After all the book falls under the category of FICTION!!! Great job Mr. Sheldon.
Rating: Summary: I guess OK Review: I read this book in 2 days , but I think that most of the things written about the happenings in Sarajevo are not correct. The most interesting part of this book was the end. It was kind of unpredictable.
Rating: Summary: There is no twist in this book!! Review: Sidney Sheldon at his worst!! This book was supposed to be about two characters but instead involved a worthless murder committed by an obvious character.
Rating: Summary: Worse than ever Review: Boring plot, poor characters. The part about the war in Sarajevo is in many details totally unaccurate. It was a waste of time to read this book and in fact I think it doesn't deserve even this one star.
Rating: Summary: Kept me awake on my way to work and back Review: I was really interested in the revenge part of the book. I didn't like the fact that I had to figure out where the president was during all the murders, and did eye patch man give him the ecstasy????
Rating: Summary: One of th best books that I have ever read Review: Leslie Stwart was "betrayed"by Oliver ,he wanted power, so Senator davis promissed him that he'll be the president if he marry his daughter. This book just got me at late hours reading.
Rating: Summary: The worst one of Sidney's books Review: The characters are stupid and boring. The story is too simple for a book with 400 pages.
Rating: Summary: one dimensional Review: Well, I'm glad I didn't read the 400 pages! The story (on tape) was one-dimensional. The narration was poor (same voices for different characters, difficult to catch transitions). Still, it beat static for my 3 1/2 hour car trip. -- Carl
Rating: Summary: CONFUSING! Review: I thought this book was really confusing and i think his previous books have been much better. The overall of this book was okay, though.
