Summary: A fun and exciting book to read
Review: Mr. Baldacci is a wonderful storyteller. This was my first book to read by David and it was a great experience. I am a high school student and was in our school library looking for a book. A saw this spine that was comparably large to the other books on the shelf. It did not give a great description of what the book was about. So I proceeded to read the first paragraph and was almost thrown to the floor from the impact those words gave me. I immediately checked it out and since that moment could not put it down. I notice others' reviews who did not enjoy this book but I suggest you grab this as soon as possible. I also recommend other books by David Baldacci, he is an fabulous author.

Summary: Great read!
Review: My first Baldacci novel, I was pleasantly surprised. Interesting story, and a real page-turner. I would highly recommend this book. I will definitely read some of his other books.

Summary: poorly written
Review: This book makes Grisham look like he deserves a Pulitzer. The story kept me reading (I did finish the book) but it was not particularly credible. However, the writing was truly awful and the dialogue stilted and trite. There's lots of better stuff to read out there.

Summary: Bad Plot
Review: this book was such a let down. the plot went nowhere and it was so stupid how they killed clint at the end. i've never read such trash in my life. the books i get at the super market with fabio on the cover are more steamer and have more "action" then absolute power. aka. don't read this book

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Entertainment with a little irony too
Review: This is a fun book to read. There may be a few too many coincidences, a few trite characters/relationships, and at times it seems it is written for TV or the movies, but the plot is plausible enough to keep it interesting.

I would love to know if it is coincidence or if Baldacci has a subtle ironic sense of humor that Luther, a lifelong criminal, has the initials LAW.

Summary: Great reading
Review: I would just like to know if anyone knows what the ending of the book meant???? When Jack hears the door "squeak"...he can't move, is afraid to make a sound...he gets up, moves toward the door... then WHAT??? Is it Kate??? Anyone have any thoughts on this???

Summary: A winner !!!
Review: Nice plot. The magic of the unpredictable unfolds throughout the whole story.

Summary: OH, MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!
Review: After I read this, I read all of Baldacci's books. they were all grate, but nothing compared to "Absolute Power". On of the best I've ever read!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: So Good I Forgot Where I Was!
Review: I was so engrossed in this book that I forgot that I was sitting outside in the sun. Needless to say I got a sunburn that I will never forget along with a new author to add to my list of writers that I eagerly await their next book. I have read all of his other works since and I am very careful about where I sit down to read.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: EXCELLENT
Review: It will be hard to find better
