Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Good, fast-paced read. Review: This was a pretty good book in the series, I would put it in the top twenty of the series. The pace of the book was good, I read it in one day with no problem. The dialogue was as always exceptional, very believable and authentic. The plot seemed a little thin in spots, but overall a good book. I recommend it to any fan of the series.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: A fun read Review: Throughout this book, I kept thinking, 'how does he keep coming up with such original plots!' The only disappointment was that my favorite character, Bert Kling, wasn't in it much. I would like to have found out more about his relationship with the interesting doctor. I wanted to see whether Mr. McBain saw any potential in keeping that magnetic couple together.
