Summary: A short commant from the Swizerland
Review: The client

We read the client in school. But we just read the short version of it. It is a school version. We also watched the film. I find this book very exciting, then you never know if Mark will says the truth, if he will lies or if he says nothing. But I think also, that this book is a little exaggerated. If Mark for example stands outside of Reggie Love`s room and suddenly fells in faint as Reggie comes out. I don`t think, that a 11 year old boy can act like Mark. I don`t know, how it is in the normal book, but in our version, the parts are very court and not boring. I think it`s a good book for every, who love crimes, they aren`t too complicate.

Summary: I`d like to have more crime time
Review: Hellow everybody

I like this book because, the story is very real. But if i could, I would bring more excitement into this story. Perhaps a kidnapping from Mark.

I have watched the film and I have read the short version of the story.I realised that there are some differences between book and film. An example is Reggie Love. in the film she is a young women and in the Book she is a 52 years old Lady.

But at the end it was nice to read the client and I recommmend the book to all persons around this Planet.

Summary: little boy, big troubles
Review: at school i read the short version of "the client" .i like the books from john grisham very much because i like thrilling crimes.john grisham writes very simple and its easy to understand his stories." the client" is very typical for john grisham . there is always a case, a lawyer and the fbi. when you read all his books, they became boring. in "the client" i like reggie love. she is a very powerful lady in a heavy men-world.she says what she thinks and she doesn`t lie anytime to mark.mark is a very clever boy. i find too clever for his age.

Summary: not enough thrilling
Review: hello everybody i read the short form of john grishams "the client" at school.first of all, i liked the book! it was very exciting to read it, but the trilling scenes were not enough written.i like the lawyer reggie love ,she is a very powerful person.she says some funny things in many scenes.let`s talk about Mark.he`s a very poor person:threaten in the escalator, his brother fell in shock and all the other things are very hard.all in all the book was exciting enough not to fall asleep while reading.while reading more books and watching films based on grishams storys,i noticed, that all the stories are similar.perhaps i would read it again...

Summary: I "misplaced" this "book" after 50 pages... Absolute trash.
Review: We all know well that Grisham has Hollywood in mind when writing novels. But does he have to be so conspicuous about it? I mean, com'on -- this book had no plot; it was more a screenplay than a novel. The characters were not believable (a 9-year old kid cannot do those things... Except maybe in Hollywood). Basically what I remember from this book was a great deal of senseless, trivial dialogue, a boring story line, and unrealistic situations.

Summary: Grisham has done it again!!!!!!
Review: ....where does he come up with these great stories???? Mark Sway is a kid I can relate to. His character is so believeable, I even thought of kids from my youth. The characters are well developed and strong. Even the weak characters have a certain strength to them. If you enjoy anything that has to do with crime and justice, you'll love this. The story flows and has no unnecessary obstacles. INTERESTING!!!

Summary: I liked it. One of Grisham's better novels. A good read.
Review: This is one of Grisham's better novels. The suspence and action kept you interested and quickly turning every page. I liked it!

Summary: Can't you imagine..
Review: I thought that The Client was an amazing book. I'm 15 and it was my first 'long' novel, and I've read it 3 times now. I find it extremly difficult to understand why some people cant understand why Marks little brother was in shock for the whole book. Imagine you witnessing what you think is the murder of your only father/mother figure. Does that answer your question. I read The Client in about 6 hours of non-stop reading, and I did not get bored of it.

Summary: BOY RUNNIG FROM MOB
Review: EXCELLENT BOOK! I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN FOR ANYTHING. IT WAS BETTER THAN THE FIRM BECAUSE IT HAD A KID RUNNING FROM THE MOB AND FROM THE FBI. I LIKED IT BECAUSE THE PLOT WAS REALLY GOOD AND HOW MARK GETS A LAWYER OF HIS OWN TO HELP HIM.THE PART I LIKE THE BEST WAS WHEN THE LAWYER WAS IN HIS CAR TRYING TO KILL HIMSELF AND MARK KEPT PULLING THE HOSE OUT OF THE TAIL PIPE.OVERALL I THOUGHT THIS WAS THE BEST BOOK I HAD EVER READ. IN MY LIFE!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Hooks you on to his writing !
Review: An igniter i will say ! yeah i'm here again, grisham's a really excellent marketing man, this book was the first i read from him and he got me mesmerised, the way he wrote it, his characterisation, his lawsuits, his potrayal of those sleazy lawyers and heavily billed clients, well and involvement of mafia, it's definately a page turner. If you have not read this book you definately can't pass a judgement on the author, get it and read it, dont re-read it or read between the lines, that might prove to be injurious to the author's sales graph.
