Summary: A stunning and innovative legal thriller by John Grisham.
Review: I must say, this has to be one of the best books I have ever read. John Grisham has yet again raised the bar for any legal thriller writers who want to throw there hat into the ring. This book will stand as a monument for ages.

Summary: GRISHAM IS THE GREATEST LEGAL WRITER OF OUR TIME!
Review: John Grisham is my favorite author. He is without a doubt THE BEST, not one of the best but THE VERY BEST legal thriller writer of our time! Anyone who can read will like this book! If you like science-fiction, techno-thrillers, or horror, it doesn't matter! Try this book right now! I guarantee that after reading just the first chapter you will be hooked! It is great! This is the first Grisham book I read and the first chapter alone convinced me that he is the best!

Summary: Another great John Grisham legal thriller
Review: I just finished reading The Client, I feel this is another great John Grisham legal thriller, this is the fifth novel I have read by Grisham and it is definitely a page turner, The story provides good action and great character descriptions. To have an 11 year old as the hero of the story is different but I feel it worked well. The character of Reggie Love was excellent, although she had only been a lawyer for 5 years she was very confident and cool in tough situations, I would highly recommend this book.

Summary: A sound read
Review: Seeing as this was the first Grisham novel I opted to read, I didn't know quite what to expect. I am happy to say though that I was very pleasantly suprised. This text is superb, nearly flawless and I recomend it to anyone. I feel the plot was consistent in keeping me intrigued and excited. I can't find words to describe how brilliantly thought up the characters of Mark Sway and Reggie Love are, apart from stunning. Marks somewhat laid back and tough attitude is suprising yet we see evidence that prooves he is still a child. Reggie is fantastic...cool, calm and collected she brought a real feel of warmth and intelligence in to the text. Even though Momma Love plays just a small part in the novel, her character was also deeply touching, her warm lasagne and other food was mouth-watering for me as a reader. Grisham is fantastic and I will most certainly read more of his novels. Brilliant!

Summary: Mark's Final Decision
Review: In The Client, Mark Sway goes into the woods to teach his brother, Ricky, how to smoke. In the middle of the lesson, a black car pulls up with a lawyer named Jerome, who is trying to commit suicide. Jerome is trying to kill himself by breathing in the carbon monoxide from his car. Mark tries to save Jerome, but his attempts fail and Jerome catches him. After Jerome catches Mark, he puts Mark in the car too. Jerome begins to talk about going to la-la land, but then he reveals the location of the dead body of senator Boyd Boyette, who his client from the Mafia murdered. The FBI knows that Mark knows where the body is, and they'll do almost anything to find out where the body is hidden. The Mafia also knows that Mark knows where the body is, and they'll do anything to stop him from telling the FBI. Mark's lawyer, Reggie, can help him choose what to do, but only Mark can make the final decision. This is a great book about making choices. Mark could tell the FBI what they need to know and risk being killed by the Mafia. Mark could also choose to stay silent, but then he'll have to stay in 'jail' until he decides to talk. WE all have to make decisions in life, but almost none of us will probably ever have to make one as hard as Marks's.

Summary: Readable, entertaining boiler-plate legal "thriller"
Review: John Grisham's books are perfect for reading on extended airplane trips or in other situations where all one desires is a readable "page-turner" to help while away the hours. The particular novel is formulaic from start to finish, complete with shallow, stereotyped characters (including a boy protagonist who apparently is eleven going on thirty in terms of his outlook and behavior). The "bad guys" are unrelentingly bad, while the "good guys" are practically saints. Perfect, eh?

Grisham is a master of the "easy read," and the book is excellent in terms of its basic function, which is to entertain. Great literature it isn't, however, so don't begin this novel with unrealistic expectations in this regard.

Summary: Great book...
Review: I love Grisham's books. I don't think he's written a disappointing one, yet, unlike most authors. Great story with an even better ending. Bravo...
