Summary: I know now my friend is in peace
Review: My best friend committed suicide in February. Another good friend recommended this book. I felt so at ease knowing now my friend was finally at peace. Knowing her, she is probably cracking jokes where ever she is. It's the best book I have ever read.

Review: My book club read the Eagle and the Rose this month with high expectations. We were sorely disappointed. We expected insightful and inspirational content. We found neither. Edgar Cayce and Carlos Castaneda's books did a much better job 20 years ago. We expected a well written narrative that would keep our interest. Instead we were bored, the writing so repetitive that most of my club members actually had to force themselves to plow through the book. And the last chapter written in the third person (as if the reader didn't know who the "little girl" would turn out to be) seemed overdone, to say the least. All and all, we were very disappointed.

Review: Rosemary Altea makes some remarkable claims in THE EAGLE AND THE ROSE, but the story of her struggle to accept and develop her skill as a spiritual counselor makes fascinating reading. Altea gives us the facts behind the TV demonstrations which have made her a popular success as a medium, and I was left wanting more case studies and less autobiographical references. That her discovery and acceptance of strange, spiritual powers has led to an improvement in her life conditions speaks volumes in favor of the healing power of this avenue of self-discovery.

Review: Rosemary's book jumped out at me at the bookstore when I was in need of comfort and answers. This book not only reunited me with my mother, it united me with a dad I never knew, and keeps me in touch with a brother who just passed over. Plus I am happy to say that I now have dedicated the rest of my life's work here on earth to doing the Lord's and the Universe's work. I am now once again whole.
