Summary: Great sequel
Review: I couldn't put this book down. I didn't think that I would enjoy reading anymore about Curtis Black after Casting The First Stone, but Too Much Of A Great Thing proved me WRONG.
K L Roby's Curtis Black is a TRUE villan. If I lived in the Chicago area- I'd be afraid to go to church. I hope KLR will let us follow the saga again- with another sequel!!!!!!!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: It's no "First Stone", but it was aiight
Review: Ms Roby has a gift of story telling. The Curtis saga was once again engaging. "Oh what a tangled web we weave..." It was cool to meet up with all the characters five years later. And unfortunately, Ms Roby's account is probably closer to truth than fiction for alot of our modern day pastors. However I agree with those reviewers who said book was predictable. Unlike in "First Stone", the end seemed like it was a manipulated effort to tie up the different plots. I appaud the book, but I think I've gotten enough of the Blacks this time.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Actually I give this book a 4 1/2 ..............
Review: Curtis Black is back and he is still up to no good.He has a new wife name Mariah and he is working in the church again and this time he wants ATM machines installed in the church.Mariah pretty much went through what Tanya went through. It was good that Mariah and Tanya got along but Curtis didn't like James and I think he was jealous of him.James was there for Alicia and treated her like his own.It was sad what Alicia went through looking for love through the internet and ended up getting hurt. She did it because Curtis is never there for her.Curtis is always always always trying to get his way when he want it.It's his way or no way at all.You would think he'd learn his lesson by now.As for Adrienne,it was sad what happened to her and Curtis never should have played with her feelings the way he did.Charlotte on the other hand is young and naive so she probaly would believe everything Curtis says. This was a good book although I didn't like the way it ended.I wonder if there is gonna be another sequel to this.If you haven't read Casting the First Stone then read that one first and then read Too Much of a Good Thing. If you've read it then read this book. Its pretty good although I feel it could have ended better!!!

Summary: Come On Yall
Review: People, people, people! Yall know that this book is entirely OVERRATED! This was not a good book. It's not even an average book. I'd say that it is rather a disappointing book. I am not impressed with Ms. Roby's writing. She's an average writer -- nothing to get all hyped about. In the past, she tells the same old boring stories that have been told over and over again. But to her credit, she did bring out a new fad in "teen phone sex." It would be nice to hear some new stories from fresh voices. Naturally, Terri Mc is the girl. By the way, where's she been hiding? Isn't it about time we hear from her again? Also, newcomer R.M. Johnson is a delightfully fresh new voice.

Summary: Great Book

Summary: EXCELLENT BOOK!!!
Review: If there was a way to vote for 10 stars this book would definitely get it. I stumbled upon Ms. Roby's writing through my book club and haven't been able to stop reading her since. Her writing is so filled with depth of each and every character you feel like you know them personally! This is one of the best books I've read so far this year. I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone that likes a good read. Make sure you pick up Casting the First Stone to really get the background of Rev. Black -- another EXCELLENT book!

Summary: Curtis is just sickening.
Review: WHEN WILL HE LEARN?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you enjoyed "Casting The First Stone", then you will enjoy this book too. This book will make you shake your head. If you are reading reviews and wondering if this book is worth buying, I would recommend purchasing this for you library. I believe there will be another sequel.

Summary: Can't Get Enough of This Good Thing !
Review: I have been a Kimberla Roby fan for years. It was wonderful to read this sequel to Casting The First Stone. And , as I suspected, I was immdiately drawn into the book from page 1. All of the characters invoked different feelings from me. From anger, to concern, to sadness. You will not be disappointed with this one. Even if you haven't read Casting the First Stone, you can still easily tell what previously happened as the author did an excellent job of giving some background. Of course, if you haven't read "Casting", what are you waiting on ?

Summary: This book was OUTSTANDING!!!!!
Review: Curtis Black never gives up on having things his way. He wants a woman on each hip at all times and yet he is still not satisfied. He is a low down pastor from every negative angle you can think of (a wolf in sheep clothing). In addition to his ways,he has the nerve to see wrong in everyone except for himself at his own convenience.

You should read "Casting the First Stone" first.

Summary: Wise and Witty Bookclub
Review: Wise & Witty recommends this sequel to other. Casting the First Stone the first book was excellent and Kimberly continues to out do herself in this book. Curtis, Curtis, Curtis one would think he has learned his lesson. But he is back to his old conniving ways. With Curtis in the pulpit the devil is always working. His lust for women and power continues to be his down fail...
