Summary: Best of the rest
Review: In his later years, Dahl could still tell a cracker of an engrossing tale. This, along with "Matilda" are the best of his later works. The story is neatly developed and tied up, though squeamish readers may dislike the fact that the protagonist must remain a mouse at the end.

Review: I think the book "The Witches" is a very intresting book. Even though it is againt some religions it is a novel so it is not going to make everthing true. Roald Dahl is a great author. I recamend this book to ages 9-13.

Summary: NOT ABOUT WITCHES!!!! I give it ZERO Stars
Review: This book is helping to hold the fear and stereo types of witches to be true. As a witch myself I am appalled that garbage like this is published. Books like these give witches a bad name and help to instill fear of witches and mask our true beliefs for the self serving purpose of making money. Would someone think that it would be so cute if there was a children's books saying that christians turned children into mice and ate them? I doubt it.We witches are a peaceful, kind, loving, and gentle people. We hold all life to be sacred. Even the lives those who write garbage like this!!!

Review: I can only imagine the outcry if every occurrence of "Witch" in this book was replaced with "Christian" or "Jew" or "Muslim".

Review: This book is telling young children a bunch of lies! This book is teaching kids false information about Witches. We don't turn children into mouses and kill them. We are normal people! It is totally bashing my religion..... do we do this to other religions so much?
