Summary: excellent read...gripping story
Review: Absolutly brilliant! Mr. Sheldon at his best. This is right up there with my other classic favourite Master of the game. Great beginning with the troubles of Toby Temple, his rise to fame, his lonliness all depicted with sheer class. Not to mention Jill Castle. Amazing ending. Un-putdownable..

Summary: Great!
Review: Fast-paced and action filled. The more I read, the more excited I become with every page. Sheldon never fails to mislead the reader into thinking one thing and revealing something else in the end.

Summary: how ruthless inside HollyWood
Review: I don't read books very much but I have one favorite writer. His name is Sidney Sheldon.I like his world. His book develops story very quickly so I'm always surprised the development and enjoy how it develops. All of his books are interesting very much and this time, I recommend one of them tytled "A Stranger in the Mirror".This story is written about inside HollyWood. We are all longing to stand the wonderful stage of HoolyWood among the beautiful lights and many audiences. But, it is a steep way to realize our dream. This story tells us that how mean and ruthless inside the beautiful HollyWood through the life of a young comedian and a young actress who dreamed to succeed in HollyWood. At first, they were full of hope but then they realized what a ruthless way we had to go to stand the HollyWood stage. To the goal, they did anything, sometime they betray their friends and lovers, sometime the use their sex. But the things they got in consequence of those ruthless behavior is neither eternal success nor happy life but only destruction of themselves. Through this story, we can get how man is stupid. Anyway, please read once.

Summary: Keeps you interested
Review: I don't read everything Sidney Sheldon writes, but I've read several of his books. He knows how to write fast-paced and interesting stories. No, they aren't classics, but must everything be? This is not the best of his books which I have read, but it kept me entertained. I wish the ending had been happier. One quibble: The scene in the pool where Josephine/Jill is embarrassed--OH PLEASE! It does not happen like that! If it did, taking a bath would be quite a messy experience! I mean, Josephine should have been rushed to a hospital! But Sheldon is a man, so he hasn't a clue about that. That scene--which is somewhat significant to the general story--does not ring true. In any case, it's an entertaining book and an easy read.

Summary: A MASTERFUL JOB! by M. Boucher
Review: I loved it from page one! Mr Sheldon has a way of turning up bestsellers like no one can! Toby Temple, Jill Castle- What great characters! And what happens to them is so compelling, you won't be able to put the book down. Count on Sheldon to put a new twist to the «Hollywood» novels. Bravo!

Summary: A victim of the seedy side of Hollywood
Review: I read this book a long time ago and I think the casting couch image was grossly overplayed.

Summary: A Stranger In the Mirror Review
Review: I remember one of the things Sidney Sheldon said, which was that, none of his characters are always all good nor are they always all bad. That is what makes his books so great, because he makes his characters "real," not out of fairy tales where things always end happily ever after. Everyone has an innocent side and everyone has an evil side.. he portrays them very well in his characters of this book. It is another must-read from Sheldon!

Summary: The last experience
Review: I think this will be my last book of Sidney Sheldon, may be the book is good, but all of his books have the same style: the first part of the story you can't put the book down, in the middle he writes pages and pages of stories that doesn't have to do anything with the main story, and at the end he repeats two or three times everything to get to the end, when you are about 3/4 of the book you just don't know if you want to finish or just skip all the pages to the end of the book.
The story of the book is a well known story of Hollywood, if you are a woman and you want to have success there you have to have sex with the directors, if you are a man you have to deceive the director to have their attention.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great Book!
Review: I thought this book was great from beginning to end. It shows how Jill Castle is munipliating Toby Temple. And how in Hollywood it is not that easy to become an actress or actor.
