Summary: MAX LUCADO IS A WONDERFUL TEACHER
Review: This book has shown me more and more how much God Loves us and all that he was willing to put his Son through to prove this. I saw God's love for humanity from a higher angle.....a different point of view. The angels were indeed silent as the Scriptures had to be fulfilled. It is the final week before Jesus' death and the week appears just like any other week to the disciples. People are carrying our their daily lives as accustomed, but only Jesus knows different, and as much as he tries to tell them what is about to happen to him they refuse to accept what he is actually saying.
Max Lucado takes us along the entire walk with Jesus during that last week before his crucifixion as portrayed by the gospel of Matthew. Highlighted are:-
The Signs Of The Second Coming
The Parable of the Virgins
The Last Judgment
The Passover
The Garden Of Gethsemane
The Betrayal

Review: This book is very special to me because my friend sent to me to help me deal w/ a lot of torment. the passage of Jesus' prayer in the Garden of Gethsemans is extremely important to any also having major problems. God is using Lucado in wonderful ways!

Summary: Excellent Author, Great book, easy to read and follow.
Review: This book was excellent. It reminded me of things that I tend to forget sometimes. It lets you know why you are here. The author is very wise and can easily explain his point in every chapter. I love reading all of his books and havnt found one that i did not like.

Summary: An inspiring walk with Jesus in His final days
Review: This is the first Lucado book I have read but certainly won't be the last. His style of writing brings to life not only Jesus as Saviour, but Jesus as a man. Using real-life examples, and examples straight from the New Testament, we are drawn into those final days as though we were indeed walking beside Jesus and knowing His thoughts. I have a far better appreciation for what Jesus went through for me (little me with all my faults) and I have a new relationship with my Saviour through reflecting on the words in this book. Also included in this edition is a study guide for each chapter with Biblical references and pertinent questions to relate the concepts of each chapter to our personal lives. A wonderful spiritual renewal book. Highly recommend it.

Review: Yes I have read this book, and as always, Max Lucado kept me tied to his writing. He writes as if he is talking to just you. I love his books. I already have 5 in my collection, and I plan on getting all the others in time. Thank you Max for your words. Thank you for having the spirit of God in your life and your writings.
