Rating: Summary: Excellent, one of Steel's best!! Review: This book is one of Steel's best. I couldn't put it down. The story was told with such feeling that it made my heart ache for Grace. Granted it had some obscene content, but without it, it wouldn't have made the story. I would recommend this book to anyone who has a couple of spare hours, because you won't want to put it down.
Rating: Summary: ICK!!!!!!!!! Review: This book is sick!! I have a lot of Steel novels but this is just overboard. By the time Grace Adams is taken advantage of for the millionth time I just threw it in the trash. This book is worthless and DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!
Rating: Summary: A definite page turner. I couldn't put it down at all. Review: Malice has got to be one of Danielle Steele's greatest novels to date. I was so absorbed by the book that I finished it the very same day I started it. Steele has a way of including real true life events into her storytelling. I love it!!
Rating: Summary: Not a typical Steele novel Review: Read this book. It's about a woman who's sexually abused by her parents for years. She kills her father, goes to prison and pays the price, then works hard to lead a healthy and meaningful life. In this book, the main character is a woman with a secret. Unfortunately secrets can often be exposed AND expounded on to the point they don't actually mirror the truth. After reading this book, I actually started questioning all the bad rap President Clinton's gotten by the press regarding his sexual exploits. Maybe he's just like the woman in this book, dealing with Malice from the press??? I hope DS continues to write books of this quality. It was the best of her's so far!
Rating: Summary: I thought this book was a very tragic, but I loved it. Review: This book may be trash to some, but I liked it alot. It may have some over detailed parts and parts where some may cringe but I enjoyed it. It tells who you can trust and who you can not. This book alsos shows the horrors of rape, betrayal, fear, and the awful twisting events that occur at jail. This book is a very book that I reccommend to anyone that wants a twisting story with a wonder story line. Now what are you waiting for? Go put it in your shopping cart now.
Rating: Summary: Painful book I've ever read !!! Review: This book has been the most painful one I've ever read, and still it is not a fiction book it is a piece of life. It remind me the sudden death of Lady DI, and I had my heart full of sorrow, that maybe we all are the ones that cause their grief, our constant curiosity, stimulate all this tabloids to make up stories. The description of Grace's family, the jail part and then the abusive men surrounding her, is a high price to pay for liberty and when everything is stable then a gossip can ruin anybody's life. Grace's life was one written truth, maybe we hadn't had much experience buy there are lots of women and children hurrying to the streets escaping from their aggressors and the worst part is when they don't have the guts to run, and stay in that hell, ruining their life each day, making it miserable with no future. The real situation Mrs. Steel describes turns you sorrowful, because she makes it so real and it is like a description of somebody's life. Maybe has different names buy it is a true sad story.
Rating: Summary: Malice Review: I could not put the book Malice down, you would think Mrs Steel was in that prision with Grace, I felt like I was part of the book . Mrs. Steel has a way of pulling you into the book you feel like Grace you cry with her and you are mad when she is mad,, It was a great book with a suprising endin
Rating: Summary: Catharsis Review: This book is absolutely the most cathartic piece of writing I have ever read! I don't believe I have ever cried as hard while reading a book--felt so happy for the heroine in one chapter and so sad for her in the next chapter. Unlike some other books I have read, I left this book with a very peaceful feeling in my soul. This was the first book I had read by Steele; however, it will not be the last
Rating: Summary: Don't Bother Review: I've read all of Danielle Steel's books and have loved them all. After reading one chapter in this book I wanted to throw it away! I was disgusted! I will not give this book any more of my time by reading it further, and I've never stopped reading a book before. Again I say....if you're thinking of reading this book....DON'T BOTHER
Rating: Summary: You cant put this book down cover to cover Review: As usual a full circle book from Danielle Steel. You see how a persons life starts and how the incidents in that life
effect the rest of their life You get in tune with the
character and really feel like she is a friend of yours. You
want only good things to happen to her but mixed in with the
good there always seems to be some bad. Read this book, a definete must read. At home or on vacation.
