Review: This book is awesome. I wish I would have had this book when I was going through some of my trials. The prayer at the end of every chapter is what I love the most. I often times don't know what to say in certain situations. And the prayers really helped me. I don't have to say exactly what the book says, but it supplies a lot of direction. I can't wait to read "The Power of a Praying Parent." My 12 year old son is driving me crazy.

Review: This book is a must read! Every woman should read this book. The prayer's are so awesome I started praying them over myself as well as my husband. The book could actually be titled "The Power of a Praying Spouse." The author did an excellent job of making the book easy to read, user friendly and relateable. This book is also great to read before you get married, you would be one step ahead of the game. This was the Christmas gift I chose to give out for 1999. It's already February of 2000 and I am still getting thank-you notes from the recipents. Take my advice buy, buy, buy....it's life changing! I absolutely love it!

Review: This book was lovingly given to me by my husband. I like most women was thinking of separation was the only way out of this mess of a marriage. My pastor told me to pray for my husband for 30 days and then see how I felt I didn't want to do it but I did half heartedly. It must have worked because my husband has never purchased anything for me before. I was surprised when he handed this to me because just two days before I was online about to purchase the same book. This was definitely the working of God's hand. I am just so glad to see he watches over me. There is not one woman who would not benifit from this book. I believe this book help save my marriage.

Review: The book "The Power of a Praying Wife" was excellent. It showed me specific areas to pray for my husband and myself. I took Stormie's challenge, however, my 30 days are not completed yet. I began reading and praying the second weekend in January and to date, I have not seen any miraculous changes in my relationship with my husband nor in our "dead" marriage. Nothing has changed, but I will continue to pray and hope that God will answer my prayers.

Review: This book helps me to see my husband's world from his perspective. It is very comprehensive in that it covers every aspect of a husband's life. It helps me to be less selfish and more willing to accept him, love him, and pray for him.

Review: A friend suggested this book and "What a Great Suggestion". It's like she wrote the book to me. My husband is also a musician and I need so much help understanding his talents. She gives great insite to what it takes to be a Godly wife. Praying with and for you husband, instead of nagging or complaining all the time. I suggest the book to any women I know that are in their first years of marriage. Even if your not, it's a great reminder of God's promises.

Summary: This SAVED our marriage!
Review: I came across this book just in time(God's time that is). I was separated from my husband of 8yrs and had an appointment with my attourney already scheduled to file for a divorce. A friend reccomended the book and as soon as I read the first chapter, I knew I had to give it just one more chance. I wish I'd read it sooner but I probably wasn't ready to listen yet! Through this book, God gave me a whole new perspective and convinced my hard head that I needed to change, too, not just my husband. I had always prayed for our marriage, but the book outlined specific areas to pray for and included specific prayers and scriptures. I was too busy praying for what I wanted and not what God wanted. I thought that too much had happened between us for our marriage to be repaired and the only option left was divorce, even though I didn't want or believe in it. Stormie talked about some of the very issues our marriage had faced such as infidelity, financial trouble, a chronically ill child, loss of a child, mental illness, and many misunderstandings. It helped me to realize that our marriage was worth working on and that maybe God had a plan for us after all! It also helped to get my priorities straight and to build a stronger relationship with God, as well as with my husband. I thank God for moving Stormie to write this book and share this information with the rest of us struggling to make our marriages work! I reccomend this book to anyone experiencing marital difficulties as well as those who want to prevent them!

Review: I have had this book for two months. It's a book with specific chapters for specific needs. It does not have to be read front to back. I recommend reading through the first chapter "His Wife". You think you're reading about how to "help" or even "change" your husband...you soon discover the Lord showing you things in your own life that need prayer and change! Don't you hate it when that happens? Me too. But, if you allow the Lord to speak to you through Stormie's writing and experience, you will not believe what happens! It is difficult to put into words the change that has taken place...in me. Attitudes, expectations, desires, wants, and needs, are all addressed. Biblically. I go to different chapters at different times on different days. Lately, I have been reading it along with Scripture in my personal time. I've known my husband since 7 yrs. old and have been married for 23 yrs. God is always faithful and always good. He will teach us if we take the time to listen. Married? Engaged? Hope to get married? Get this book. Then, read it. Then pray. Then apply it. God Bless.

Review: This book is awesome. My husband and I were married in October of 1999. This book has helped me to see the tremendous power in praying for specific key areas of my husband's life. As I read the the first chapter, I realized that I was in need of prayer first. I read the chapters and pray the prayers everyday; and I plan to continue for the rest of our married lives. The words of the prayers are powerful and exact. I feel spiritual power just from saying the prayers. I thank God for blessing me with a wonderful husband and I know that God is going to continue blessing our marriage because of what I am implementing from this book. I recently shared some of the prayers with my husband and he was blessed. He was amazed to know that I am praying such in-depth prayers for him daily. The prayers really ministered to his heart.
