Rating: Summary: Funny Review: "Wayside School is Falling Down" is the funniest book I have ever read, with 30 stories jam-packed with more humor than Dr. Suess and Mr. Socko combined. Some stories are as long as three chapters and some are just one. The book features Todd, Paul, Rondi, Allison, and others. The funniest story is about the kids learning to dance. They get cut up, scratched, bruised, and bloody, but finally they dance the tango. Nobody gets hurt seriously. As a matter of fact, they liked it! Kathy is a character I didn't care for. She hates everyone and is mean, making fun of the other kids. She is spoiled. Her parents are rich and buy her whatever she wants. She needs to go to a school counselor! All in all, "Wayside School is Falling Down" is a good book.
Rating: Summary: The book is interesting because of the characters' problems Review: What I liked about the book is that the kids have character and so do the teachers. The book is very interesting. The main reason I like it is the characters have a lot of weird problems. I would highly recommend this book to everyone.
Rating: Summary: A hilarious book that keeps you thinking Review: The kids of Mrs. Jewels class tell the strange goings-on at Wayside School.Like, when Alison is forgotten and travels to the mysterious 19th floor. And you must remember " There is no 19th floor. Miss zarves teaches the class on the 19th floor. There is no Miss Zarves."

A funny part was when Ron kissed his teacher Mrs. Jewels, on the lips because he ate Mrs. Mush's mushroom surprise . All the children in the book sounded like they had fun, I hope I can read the whole serious.

Rating: Summary: A visionary book - the first chapter Review: Mr Sachar has made an aesop's fables for the post-modern, fragmented world we live in, and he wrote it twenty years ago! Long before Douglas Copeland and Chris Carter were dissecting the modern american subconscious, Louis Sachar had us pegged when we were in the cafeteria. These books deserve further reading. From the opening scene describing the trashing of the environment by the industrial system - as illustrated by the old-method pencils and papers strewn over the once clean and fun playground, to the media's subtle distortion of words to affect our behavior - as illustrated by the spelling bee "box, C-R-A-T-E, box". He has found a perfect summary for our current malaise in the quote "Louis felt his arms go numb. Actually he didn't feel his arms go numb." Just in the first chapter it forces us to confronts us to look afresh as our adherence to technology and where it eventually brings as Louis (being the narrator, and as such, us) belabors to bring the computer up thirty flights of stairs only to have it demonstrate gravity the way any other object (such as a reasonably priced rock) could by dropping it out a window. Everyone who reads this should ask themselves, "Am I carrying a heavy computer up thirty flights of stairs only to have it thrown out a window?"
Rating: Summary: Very imagenitive! Review: This book was about kids in elementry, but the funny thing is that there school is built like a building up and down with 30 floors each one a class room.I think that they really work out espesially if your room is the 30 floor.Iliked because it has some funny parts to it.
Rating: Summary: It was a very good book. Review: I liked it because it was very interesting and cool
