Rating: Summary: This book is really funny. Review: I like Wayside School is Falling Down by Louis Sachar. It was so funny. My favorite part was when Ron ate the mushroom surprise. When Ron ate this for lunch, his face turned green and he kissed Mrs. Jewls. That was so funny. The Wayside School is 30 stories high and they have to go up to Mrs. Jewls' room on the top floor. I think you will enjoy reading this book because I read it and I thought it was really funny.
Rating: Summary: The Best Book I've Read This Year Review: Wayside School is Falling Down by Louis Sachar is a very interesting book about kids and the problems they have at school, such as a child bringing in a hobo for show and tell, and having a thirty stories high building instead of thirty classrooms next to each other! These are only two of the problems children at Wayside school face. So if you like adventures this book is right for you. I really liked this book because every time I read it I would just crack up because it was so funny. Unfortunately this book is really short. Also it's more child-like than I had expected. .....
Rating: Summary: Wayside school is falling down By louis sachar Review: I loved this book .... Especially when you read about Miss Zarves on the 19th story. well you know. You will love this book!
Rating: Summary: Wayside School is falling down Review: Wayside School is Falling Down by Louis Sachar Wayside School is Falling Down by Louis Sachar is about all the things that happen to all the kids in Mrs. Jewls class. If you like strange stories this is the book for you . It is a collection of stories. The school is built sideways and there's no nineteenth story! I recommend this book because the theme is wacky. If you have a taste for humorous stories read this book. A few chapters are really confusing, but you get over it. There are other books about Wayside School . I also recommend them. I feel Lois Sacher wrote this book to bring laughs into the world.
Rating: Summary: Hilarious! Review: This prequel to Wayside School Gets a Little Stranger is just as hilarious as its sequel. The Wayside books are hilarious books, and I strongly urge children to read it among their first novels.
Rating: Summary: Does Johnny Hate to Read? Review: Louis Sachar has found a way to combine a child's wacky way of viewing the world, clever plays on words, phrases, and chapters(!!), and a cast of quirky characters to produce a set of books that will coax any reader to keep on reading. The third of his Wayside School series, Sachar turns the school upside-down, and, in the process, guarantees entertaining reading for adult and child alike. I particularly enjoy the audio version of the book, since the "voice" on tape successfully makes each character's persona his own. This is a book that your child (and you!) will find yourself reading over and over, discovering new meanings in different passages each time. Mr. Sachar, keep writing!!
Rating: Summary: wayside school is falling down Review: The characters acted like normal students but the school wasn't. It was 30 floors high with barley any width or length of it.the book had 30 chapters for every floor. There was a story for every chapter. If you go to the fake school {wayside} you will be surrounded by cows! Overall its an alright book.
Rating: Summary: A wonderful book! Review: This book had a bunch of fun and crazy adventures at Wayside School. This book tells you stories about the students and teachers at Wayside School. The school was built sideways. There is no 19th story, but something weird happens. Allison visits the 19th story! Todd gets in trouble everyday, but soon he gets a cute stuffed dog that saves him from getting in trouble. Leslie's pigtail's saved Paul from crashing to the ground from the 30th story if the school. Then a new kid comes whose name is Benjamin Nushmutt, but everyone thinks his name is Mark Miller. A bunch of crazy things happen at Wayside School, and you don't want to miss out, do you? I don't think so. Hurray up and get this wonderful book by Louis Sachar, Wayside School is falling down, and don't forget to get Wayside School gets a little Stranger and Sideways Stories from Wayside School, all by: Louis Sachar.
Rating: Summary: Q's Views Review: Wayside school is Falling Down is a hilarious book. The book is about a classroom on the 30th story. There are 29 kids and 1 teacher, Mrs. Jewls. They have many adventures together that they think are every day adventures. The book is very different from others because Louis Sachar, the author, really used her imagination. A lot of people really like that. Other books are true, but nothing in this book is true. Like cows living in your school. The author, Louis Sachar, has written a lot of books. Like Holes, Sideways Stories from Watside School, Wayside School gets a little Stranger, Sideways Arithmitic from Wayside school, Dogs don't tell Jokes, Boy who Lost his Face, 6th Grade Secrets, Marvin Redpost: Alone in his teacher's House, and Kidnapped at Birth? and many others. Most people would find this very amusing. This book is so funny. Like when Mrs. Jewls pushes a computer that Louis, the yard teacher, had worked hard at getting up there, out the window. That was really funny and you can find more stuff like that by checking out more books by Louis Sachar. I think that everyone will really like this book. I would think that people at the age of 8-11 year olds would like this book.
