Summary: Bex back into debt? Again?
Review: You definately need to read Confessions of a Shopaholic before this! You'll appreciate the antics that much more, to be completely honest.

Becky has her new job and her new beau... the job has even helped her pay off her shopping. But still she manages to keep NEEDING more clothes and shoes and makeup so she can look her best on television, regardless of the show's own wardrobe. Somehow when she goes on "holiday" to Manhattan, she thinks the bills don't exist still back in England. She spends and spends and spends... all her shopping expenses get exposed and her boyfriend's business expansion almost goes under because of all her little hidden debt secrets. You're never going to believe how Becky manages to get herself out of this dilemma and where she ends up working in the end! Oh, and don't forget Suze, Becky's roommate in England! You'll NEVER guess who she starts dating! Read and find out!!! You'll love it!

Summary: Even better and more hilarious than the first!!!
Review: I loved this book! The first one was good but this one was much better and so funny. It has lots of twists and turns and I just couldn't put it down! I couldn't get enough of Becky Bloomwood in this book. If I had to pick someone to compare her to someone it would definetely be Lucille Ball! If you haven't read the Shopaholic books, I suggest you do so!

Summary: A Wonderful Release from Responsibility
Review: In my real life, I'm responsible, sober, and solid. But in my fantasy life, I buy whatever I want without thinking about the money, ignore my bills, and am un-intentionally brilliant. I'm so glad the heroine gets to do all of the wacky stuff, so I can live vicariously through her.

On a more serious note, Sophie (the author) really hits what's important in women's lives -- not the shopping, but the people. And there's quite a bit of people-savvy in her books.

Sophie -- I've already read all 3 Shopaholic books, where's the next one?!!!!

Summary: absolutely entertaining way better sequel than bridget jones
Review: I picked up and read all three books in the series back to back, and its such a fun read! Becky Bloomwood is so human, and totally funny in her failings, and as a shopaholic myself, I absolutely absolutely identified with her behaviour. The sequel to Bridget Jones' diary was sort of a let down, but these just get better with each one. If you haven't read any of them yet, start with the first book, confessions of a shopaholic, then read this one, followed by shopaholic ties the knot.

Summary: Loved it, loved it, loved it
Review: I am addicted to Becky Bloomwood! The book is funny with just the right amount of (okay, so it's a tiny amount) suspense. I have her, and every other character, pictured in my head and can't want to see what she can screw up next! Keep 'em coming, Ms. Kinsella!

Summary: I liked The First One Better ~
Review: I did enjoy this book, but I liked "Confessions Of A Shopaholic" Just a little bit more. Shopaholic Takes Manhattan did not disppoint me. Becky is just as crazy as she has ever been. She makes me laugh with her logic thinking since she paid off her credit cards that she won't have to worry about them for a while when in reality she keeps forever spending. It's so funny to see how she deals if she were to lived in New York. I am looking forward "Shopaholic Ties The Knot" I was still an Enjoyable book.
Happy Reading Lisa

Summary: Add me to the list of those who LOVED this book!
Review: I won't re-hash the story line here, I just wanted to add myself to the list of those who LOVE Sophie Kinsella's "Shopaholic" series! Like a reader above me, I too read "Confessions of a Shopaholic" in one day and couldn't wait to get my hands on this one. Now I can't wait to pick up the third one!

It's such a fun book to read. You will find yourself falling in love with crazy Becky Bloomwood - maybe even relating to her in some ways? I also find myself so proud of her and what she is making of her life and overcoming what she needs to overcome.

This series rises right to the top of my favorite brit chic books.

Summary: Just as good as the first!
Review: I loved this book and laughed throughout. Becky Bloomwood is a riot, and can get herself into more trouble just going into a store. And when Becky moves to Manhattan, the shopping mecca of the world, she starts spending big time! I loved her rationalization process when she saw an outfit or shoes or almost anything that she wanted. As a book buyer who cannot seem to set limits, I identify with Becky. And how she gets herself into and out of trouble is just so much fun to read. I can't wait to read Shopaholic Ties the Knot!

Summary: Love It!
Review: Read the first book in a day and ran out right away to buy this one. I laughed, cried, rehjoiced and cringed with Becky! I was starting to get to the point where I was defending her purchases in my head (Well, she was absolutely right about the Vera Wang...it's a once in a lifetime chance!!)
I will highly reccomend this series to all my friends.
