Summary: Definately, well worth the money!
Review: I purchased Sinbad's Guide to Life on tape, to bring with me on a 10 hour flight i wasnt looking forward to. I could have listened to it the whole 10 hours! He proves once again, you don't need four letter words to be funny. During the whole listening, i would constantly flip back into my own childhood and life and say to myself.... i remember when i did that......... The whole time i was listening with my headphones i was constantly laughing outloud.

Review: I was laughing out loud most of the time that I was reading this book. His way of looking at life, and describing experiences was really creative. I just loved it. I plan to read it again real soon. I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes good clean humor.

Summary: Sinbad is much funnier than he comes off on this tape.
Review: I'm a big fan of Sinbad, so when I got this audiobook, I was really looking forward to listening to it on my next business trip. Having finished it, I can't say I was ENTIRELY disappointed, but it didn't live up to my expectations either.

Unfortunately, it sounded too much like Sinbad reading rather that Sinbad talking. And that took away some of his charm. I have heard some of the chapters in the book from his concert performances, and he definitely delivered this stuff better when he was doing his live show. He just didn't seem to have the same energy as when he's in front of a live audience.

Now, don't get me wrong...the book is still clever and funny, and I did enjoy the anecdotes that he delivered, but Sinbad is a comic that is best experienced in front of an audience.

Summary: Sinbad will have you in tears--great, big , LAUGHING TEARS!
Review: Many sections are directly from his comedy acts, but somehow his comedy translates to print with even more hilarity. I had a husband and two TEEN-AGE sons screaming with laughter and gasping for air as I read aloud his views on discipline and childrearing. I am buying a book for each of my sisters to read to their families also. How wonderful to have something to share about family life today. This classic goes on the shelf between "The Book Of Virtues" by Bennett and Cosby's "Fatherhood". If you struggle to tell your kids about growing up in the 70's, just let Sinbad help them see the light

Summary: Oprah is right
Review: Sinbad is absolutely the funniest man on the planet. And so rare in these times, he doesn't need the shock of foul language; he is hysterically funny without it. His way of looking at the world is healthy AND insightfull AND beyond-words-funny. You will love him.

Summary: Sinbad's Book is Hilarious
Review: Sinbad's book is one of the most hilarious books I've ever read. I gradually read through each page numerous times laughing to myself each time I read it. Sinbad's book is a great introduction to his humor. He uses material that anyone can relate to including family, parents, parenthood, collage and childhood. Some of the material that he uses in his book is from his standup show Son of a Preacherman. But still his material is very funny. Sinbad's book is an easy fun read. But I would recommend people to take there time and enjoy.I would recommend this book to anybody with even the slightest bit of a sense of humor.
