Summary: This book is laugh-out loud funny!!!
Review: Be careful where you are when you read this book. If you are reading in a public place, then be prepared for the stares that will come your way as you laugh histerically at Sinbad's book. It is many parts funny, some parts touching and entirely enjoyable. I highly recommend it especially if you are already a fan. If you are not a fan of Sinbad's get it anyway. You will become one.

Summary: Just Like Sinbad!
Review: He covers everything in this book. I especially love when he talks about him in the emergency room with his daughter with raisins up her nose. It's not a masterpiece book that is very well put together but he make up with it with all the funny stuff. It's just like he right beside you talking to you.

Summary: His "GUIDE TO LIFE" is our guide to laughs!
Review: Here is a book where anyone who has had the hand-me-downs and the mega-afros can relate and have lived to laugh about it! Sinbad is a total riot, and his guide will have you rolling in the aisles because you have lived through the same things. His candor and honesty about his perceptions of living are honest and not filled with vulgar. He has the charisma and foresight to draw you into his world and not leave you hanging with a bunch of reteric or made-up philosophies that will have you wondering if he had nothing better to do with his time. This self-perception guide with show you how a mischevious child grew to an awkward teen, and from there into the confident man he is today, and you will laugh each and every step of the way.

Summary: Good clean humorous book...........
Review: I have been a long time fan of Sinbad's movies and HBO specials. He is funny while being clean which is very hard to do these days. His memories of the 70s were hilarious. Especially when he talked about the clothes of the era and the hairstyles (he had a giant red afro)! You can read a few chapters and chuckle, put it aside and re-read the same sections and still chuckle. Its a very funny read and I would highly recommend it.

Summary: A Few Thoughts on "Sinbad's Guide to Life"
Review: I just started working at a B. Dalton bookstore and we receive advance copies of books. I managed to get dibs on this and took it home. I thought it was great! For anybody who's watched his comedy routines and enjoys them, this will be an enjoyable read. Parts of his routine thrown into the book and a little extra besides that. I laughed out loud several times. Pick it up

Summary: Hilarious!
Review: I knew Sinbad was funny and I had seen his acts, some of those are included in the book. But as I was reading his book, there were times I just couldn't stop from laughing. My husband would want to know what was so funny, I tried reading it but it wouldnt come out cause I would just keep on laughing. I love this book. I was imagining the way he would say them which made it all the more hilarious. Buy the book!

Summary: Home Alone and Out of Control!
Review: I ordered this book along with numerous others in an introductory offer to a book club. I had planned to read a little bit of each book, then go back and read them one by one. Well...when I started reading this book (and I started somewhere in the middle) and was laughing so loudly, I thought the neighbors and people outside on the street would hear me (and I live in a private house). My husband was out, and I thought if he comes in and hears me, he'll think I've lost my mind. I was completely out of control. Then, when I had regained some sense of composure, I looked on the back of the book where Sinbad says to be careful because the book will have you laughing out loud. (Didn't he know I had already done that?)

Summary: One of the funiiest books that I've ever read.
Review: I picked up this book at my favorite book store, and was laughing so hard while reading from the chapter about diets, that someone I had never met, passed by and asked "What are you reading?". I showed her the section, and she began laughing uncontrollably, so her husband came by with a perplexed look and she gave the section to her husband... his reaction was the same.... I also purchased the audio version, and my only suggestion is that you DO NOT listen to this while in busy traffic... I almost had an accident, I was laughing so hard, I was crying and couldn't see... This is well worth the price !!!

Summary: It ought to be a law against being this funny
Review: I picked up this book for a light quick read and I must have laughed for hours trying to read this book. Actually, I started it in a bookstore and while waiting in line, I began laughing out loud. Finished it sitting on the porch laughing, my neighbors must think I am crazy, I was only reading the crazy man book.
