Review: I have never read a book that has hit my heart like this one did. The stuggles that Novalee had to go through to find love shows that she was a strong character. I would recommend this book to any person who needs an inspirational story.

Summary: What a Great Bunch of Characters !
Review: I couldn't believe this story! It was so amazing and like so many others said I felt like I was a part of Novelee's life! The detail in this book is amazing and really makes you feel like you are there! I hated to have to put it down and it's been a very long time since I have been able to finish a book because of being a working mother of three and a wife!! I not only enjoyed reading about Novelee but also about Lexie! She is an amazing character, the way she takes care of her kids and loves them so dearly! She overcomes a lot of obstacles just as Novelee does. This was fabulous and I even bought this book for my sister!

Review: In her very entertaining way, Billie Letts paid tribute to the people from my own life. Each of the characters from this story could be matched to someone I have known and loved. I needed to be reminded that when all is said and done, success is having known a community of people that care about each other's well being.

Novalee walks into your heart empty but finishes with the best gift in life - one that is filled with friendship, love and a knowledge that you can give to others what they have so preciously given to you. Wal-Mart will never be the same for me. The setting is forever embedded in my life. If you want Novalee to remain forever, the song 'Wide Open Spaces' (Dixie Chicks) will keep her alive in your memory.

Review: I couldn't put this down. This book was enjoyable from the very beginning to the very end. The characters were wonderfully described and brought out throughout the story. It's a very down-to-earth story that didn't have any of the fad writing that goes on today. A wonderfully written piece that I would recommend to anyone.

Review: This by far was the best choice Oprah has made of books. I think in order for people to enjoy reading they have to enjoy the characters, and comprehend what's going on without racking your brain to find all the symbolism within the story. It was also short enough to read.

Review: This book was great. I just wanted to keep on reading. I was very upset when it ended because I felt so apart of Novalee's life. I really miss reading this book because when it ended I lost the world of Novalee and Americus that I feel in love with. I recommend this book to anyone that wants to feel good that the underdog makes it and has a great life. Love, happiness, saddnes, hopes, dreams, and success are what this book offers.
