Summary: Love, life, and all that junk that clutters life
Review: Enjoyed this book because it showed us that friendships don't always come in perfect little packages. It was truly a heartwarming book and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Summary: BETTER THAN EXPECTED
Review: I'm only 15, but an avid reader, and I absolutely loved this book. My mom recommended it to me, and it left me with such a warm feeling that I would like to recommend it to other teenagers. I think it teaches you a lot of very valuable lessons and is very much worth the time it takes to read it.

Summary: The best book I've read in a long time
Review: ), an 18 year old high school student, February 12, 1999,

I have never read a book that has hit my heart like this one did. The stuggles that Novalee had to go through to find love shows that she was a strong character. I would recommend this book to any person who needs an inspirational story.

Summary: Wonderful Book
Review: It is a book you will not want to put down. I am a busy Mom with very little time to read. This was definately worth finding the time!

Summary: worth a second look
Review: Though I was swept away by its simple narrative, my enjoyment of the story was never once interrupted by the quiet, steady prose. Just a perfect book. If you like stories about odd young women in search of love, happiness and better television reception check out my two recommendations.

Summary: Want a book you won't be able to put down?
Review: I loved this book. I read it about 2 years ago, when I was a Junior in High School, and found myself unable to put it down (this, of course, got me into some trouble when I would read it during class). Now, as a First year in college, I still pick it up every now and then just to read a few chapters. When I finished this book, I was sad. It felt like I had lost a good friend. Here's some advice: READ THIS BOOK!!!

Summary: Pick of the litter
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Novalee was a heroine I could relate to in many ways, as was Lexie. Ms. Letts has a wonderfully fresh and engaging writing style. I look forward to her next work.

Summary: Heartwarming and Fabulous!
Review: I picked this book up on a whim not knowing it was an Oprah selection and I was so pleasantly surprised!! I fell in love with the characters, the story, just everything about it. It was such an easy read too - I finished it in a few hours. I couldn't put it down. I absolutely recommend this book to everyone. It is a must read.

Summary: Chewing gum for the eyes
Review: A great book if you like your reading to be totally undemanding. If you like a book to prompt you to use any of your grey matter, take a pass on this. For soap opera adicts everywhere.
