Summary: WOW! I never knew simple was this great.
Review: This was the first novel I read, with Ophra's suggestion. The first chapter had me saying, "How stupid." By the second chapter I was hooked. Very simple novel about people you don't meet everyday. Billie way to go!! Fiction is after all fiction. Great book, I have suggested it to others who are now hooked on Oprhra's suggestions.

Review: This was a book that was so easy to read, I ended up reading it from front to back in one day. This book teaches us that everyone has their own little Quirks and nobody is perfect. I think this would be a great book for highschool students to read. They are all caught up in who has more and who's the best. If they would read this book they might come to realize that it's whats in your heart that counts.

Review: I could not put this book down...Billie Letts has a way of placing her readers directly into the lives of the characters, as well as adding humor and sentiment to each and every chapter. I was skeptical at first, but this book really heightened my awareness of the deep South, and I laughed and cried when I least expected to!

Summary: Good book, Easy Reading
Review: A well written book about a young girl who is graciously taken in by good people after her angry, selfish boyfriend leaves her at a Wal Mart, 7 months pregnant, on their way to California. She grows into a warm, intelligent and caring person surrounded by the gift of love from caring, loving, and somewhat odd people. You feel as if you are watching her grow as you move along in the story with her. There are parts that break your heart and there are parts that make you laugh. Very enjoyable book!
