Rating: Summary: HEARTWARMING Review: Brilliant book - brilliant 'chick flick', starring Natalie Portman and Ashley Judd. A must-read novel, must-see movie out now on video.
Rating: Summary: Friends and Family... what a gift ! Review: I also agree with "Happiness and Heartache". Where The Heart Is , by Billy Letts, was a well- written novel. This book wonderfully portrays the main character, Novalee Nation, and how she struggles through life. I love the way Novalee came into this small town and everyone was so friendly with her and because they were friendly with her. They influenced her life for the better. This book makes you realizes families and friends are very important, to should never turn your back on them. I enjoyed reading this book and I highly recommend it.

Rating: Summary: Stephanie Howell's Review on Where the Heart Is Review: The book Where the Heart Is, by Billie Letts, is my personal favorite. Novalee Nation, and her boyfriend, Willie Jack Pickens were on their way to California, so Willie Jack can work for the railroad. Novalee is seventeen years old and seven months pregnant with Willie Jack's baby. On their journey west, Willie Jack decides to desert Novalee at a Wal-Mart in the middle of a town called Sequoyah. For the rest of her pregnancy, Novalee lives in the Wal-Mart. While in Wal-Mart, she makes some friends to whom eventually becomes very close. Once she has the baby, a very nice woman helps her out, and offers her a place to live. The rest of the book is a struggle for Novalee to get over her bad luck of the number seven, and to properly raise her beautiful new child. Where the Heart Is, is a book about trusting others, and making relationships work out for the best. I enjoyed reading this book, and I highly recommend it to everyone!
Rating: Summary: Great Novel That Inspires Review: Finally a good novel that does not leave you depressed at the ending! This is one to pull off the shelf time and time again. Ms. Letts has set a wave of other new novels that inspire and I'm so grateful. One that just came out is A Place Called Wiregrass and it reminded me very much of this terrific book. Thank you Billie Letts for changing the course on the literary world!

Novalee lives in Wal-mart and day by day she goes out meets people which become friends, trys to earn some money. She has her baby in Wal-mart and names her Americas Naiton. Rating: Summary: The Kind of Book You Don't Want to End Review: I remember reading an excerpt from this book in Good Housekeeping and was totally intrigued by it. I received it for Christmas shortly after and devoured it in a few days and was sad when it ended. This book inspired me to read other books by Billie Letts, which proved to me that she is an exceptional author.
