Summary: Hard to put down!
Review: This story is captivating from the start! I finished it in about 3 or 4 days! Novalee is such an amazing person and Billie Letts really makes you feel as though you're in the story. You're able to relate to Novalee and feel the same emotions as she is experiencing! I'd recommend this book to anyone!

Review: Where the Heart Is made my heart melt. The characters were great and the story is heartwarming. I haven't seen the movie. Is it good? Well, I seriously doubt it's better than the book.

Review: I don't know where I heard about it -- but I knew it was about a girl who lived in Wal-mart. So one day I find it in the library and it sounded really good. Her names Novalee Nation, and all her life shes had a problem with sevens, her mother left her when she was seven, she's seventeen years old and seven mouths pregnant and so on. Then on her way to California her boyfriends dumps her at Wal-Mart. This is such an awsome, don't put it down book. Billie Letts makes it a point to show that no ones perfect and everyone makes mistakes, and not everybody is living a perfect life, its the best book I've read in a long time.

Review: I have bought the book "Where The Heart Is", but I didn't really begin reading it. Then last night when none of my friends wasn't outside I went back in. Pick up the book and began reading all night long. Reading most of it, I'll probably finish it before tomorrow. I have never read a book like this, I can not stop reading it. And I will probably see myself reading this thousands of times

Summary: Phenomenal Read! A must for all young women who love to read
Review: When I first saw the previews to this movie, I knew that I wanted to go and see it but I never got around to it. I generally tend to read the book before the movie so I thought that I would go ahead and give it a try. What luck! After requesting the book at my library, and waiting 2 months, I finally got it and I sure was glad that I did. I just completed reading it and I just begain today, once I started I couldent put it down. Even though the characters names and the places mentioned in the book seem silly, there is a heartwarming story to be told. I guarantee if you read this book you will feel that you are a part of the story not just a reader, you become involved and you can actually picture the characters! This author is definatly one of my top picks for anyone looking for a good book. Try it...you wont be disappointed.

Summary: She's Blindingly Sweet
Review: Billie Letts has created a novel unlike I have ever read. From start to finish, this book is surprising, unexpected and very creative. She never takes the easy way out, NOR does she do what you think she's going too. Her characters are one of a kind, and unlike any you've ever read about. Sister Husband is worth the price of the book alone. "Where The Heart Is" is a wonderful book that digs deep into your heart and tells a wonderful story. I found it very enjoyable, a nice and easy read. Certainly one for anybody looking for a good story with interesting characters. Very enjoyable!

Review: This book was one of the best books out of Oparh's (Huge fan) book club.I fell in love with this book.One second I am crying(yes I am a man) and the next I am laughing off my head. I loved this book.I encourage U to read other Oprah book club books. Where the heart is will find your heart in a beat. If i could I would frame this book.So I beg U to read it.

Summary: A heart warming read
Review: While shopping around one night in book store, long before this novel was ever advertised by the movie version, it caught my eye. After reading the back summary, I did not expext much-you know the average teen age girl gets pregnant, struggles a little, and finally makes it to a stage in her life where she can be content-Wrong. This book was one that kept me turning the pages, as you read each chapter, Novalee, with her residence in Wal-Mart, Sister Husband, with her crazy, personality, Forney, with his stong and honest passion for Novalee, are sure to make you laugh, cry, and even at times think about the people who have touched your life. This story is beautifully written, while revealing some of the toughest situations in life that deal with a little bit of every department.
