Rating: Summary: Educational & Informational Review: This book is excellent! I increased my cash flow by $8,000 my first month byusing the options on stock splits strategy as explained by Wade Cook in this book. I parlayed that into RollingStock and Covered Calls also explainedin WALL STREET MONEY MACHINE.This book gave me the know how and theconfidence to take action. I gave copiesof this and other Wade Cook Books asaccessory gifts this past Christmas.I strongly recommend WALL STREET MONEYMACHINE as the first book to read beforestarting investing. The second book should be STOCK MARKET MIRACLES and thenext book should be ROLLING STOCKS.As for the critics of WADE COOK; Do whatI Did when I first heard about WADE; TRYIT MYSELF FIRST TO SEE IF IT WORKS! Needless to say, I'm glad I tried. IT WORKS! And I'll never go back to the oldway of trading again. My wife, children and I are living a lifestyle that would have otherwise beenimpossible for us thanks to the additional cash flow strategies we learned from WADE COOK!THANKS WADE!
Rating: Summary: A fun, easy to read, no nonsence approach to investing Review: I've read many investment books, but this one is the best. It's easy to read and not too technical. Wade Cook makes sense when he talks about rolling stocks, buying and selling puts, etc. The only down side to this book is that it is blatantly trying to sell you on a very expensive financial seminar. The book gives you enough information to get you thinking, but it could go a little more in-depth without the commercials. That being said, I would recommend this book to the novice to moderately experienced investor.
Rating: Summary: A good Infomercial Review: I found the book to be a good starting point for the new investor.I have traded stocks for years, but never options.Wade explains options the way you would to an elementary school student.I found this to be easy reading.I will say Wade is full of himself, but you would be to if you were as successful as he has been.I have actually taken Wade's Wallstreet Workshop,it's not worth the money.
Rating: Summary: Great for the beginner or knowledgeable investor Review: This is a great book that helped to explain and de-mystify a lot about the stock market, especially options trading. I had never done an options trade prior to reading this book. Wade does an excellent job discussing the terms and strategies in ways anyone can understand. This also helped to refine my other stock market skills. Since reading Wade's books and implementing his strategies I have been making consistently high returns each month and have finally built up some capital after years of trading gains for losses. I have gotten several other friends and family members turned on to this and they are making consistently high returns as well. THANKS WADE!
Rating: Summary: Good book! Review: I read the book, did what it said, and . . . vwallah! Money! You critics out there obviously have merely judged the book by it's cover! Yes, it goes against the traditional schools of thought in investing, but then who ever said that tradition is the only way to make good money!!! All I can say is, I'm doing it, and it works! I don't care who you "professional" investors are who've slammed this book! The returns I've been getting on these methods aren't a figment of my imagination! These strategies really work! You critics, are you making the money he makes on Wall Street . . . huuhhh????
Rating: Summary: Don't listen to all the brokers who have reviewed this book! Review: Yes, there are a lot of pitches for Wade's other merchandise in this book. Read it and make up your own mind. It is possible to make more than 10-20% per year - yes, it is possible to make this in a month - yes, I do it. Warren Buffet doesn't buy and hold - he uses some of these techniques - as do many other big time investors. Do read other books on the subject, but don't sell yourself short. It costs nothing to trade on paper - decide for yourself!
Rating: Summary: Read the book, do the rest by yourself! Review: Book is OK to read. But do your own work, and do not buy the rest stuff he wants to sell you. There is no free lunch! Do you own work if you want to make money, and take your own risk. All the ideas in the book need to be carefully tested by a person who is willing to read more from other sources. Mr. Cook is a smart guy, but do not fall into his sale's trap!
Rating: Summary: Basic, lacks new data, not well organized Review: It truly is a teaser book to sell his seminar and his companies services. It did go over some basic techniques however that help the new investor make more with their limited capital.
Rating: Summary: I found it accurate, informative and inspiring Review: The 'new' discovery, 'buy low and sell high' extolled by mr. cook in this book works quite well if you pay attention to the other things he says, i.e. Don't get greedy, know when you will get out before you get in, and DO YOUR RESEARCH and DON'T GET GREEDY. The system, or non-system if you will, hinges upon some basic tenets and good hard work. The hard work is research, but the time required is not great. The biggest thing to remember is that there are NO guarantees or free lunches in this world. Work begets income and all else is obscene good or bad luck.
Rating: Summary: THIS BOOK OFFERS STOCK MARKET STRATEGIES FOR THE TIMES!! Review: WADE COOK'S Stock Market Strategies are doing for sophisticated traders in the 90's what lease options did for Real Estate in the 80's. Thank you Wade for sharing these strategies with all of us. My bottom line has increased by more than $25,000 this year and that is after starting with only $2.500 and losing money following a brokers advice.
