Summary: Interesting, but writing style could use some work
Review: I found the writing rather dry and hard to get through in places. "Murder in Brentwood" was a fairly interesting book full of information that I did not know (not that I followed the OJ case coverage that closely). Personally, I do not see how anyone could say O.J. was not guilty after reading this book; there is just so much evidence stacked against him. Mark Fuhrman was treated unfairly in the trial and by the media; in my opinion, he was just trying to do his job. Read this book if you want to find out the truth concerning the O.J. case; I am really astounded that this man was not found guilty of murder.

Summary: Almost as good as Murder In Greenwich...
Review: I really wasn't interested in reading a book about the Simpson case. It was so highly publicized that I was tired of hearing about it. However, after I read "Murder in Greenwich" by the same author and watched a video about the Simpson case in my criminal justice class, my interest was piqued. So I decided to buy the book, and to my surprise, found it very interesting. There was a lot that I learned by reading this book that I never heard when watching the news-some of it quite fascinating. If you're interested in learning about what went on behind the scenes in the investigation and trial, read this book. It's a fairly quick read and quite entertaining.

Summary: Honest and Humble, Mark Furhman gets MY TWO THUMBS UP!
Review: GREAT BOOK MARK...hope you read the reviews! Because I want you to know that I'm proud of you. Having been involved in law enforcement in one way or another quite literally my entire life, (since my father was the 1st cop in the family), I have to tell you that I quite literally cried when I saw you on that stand taking the fifth. Why? Because I KNEW exactly what they'd done to you...by "they" I mean Ms. Clark & Co. (I just love how she's making tons of money out of losing, don't you? THAT's the justice that these victims received, and her comments about you to the jury were JUST as self serving as everything she's been doing in her life! Only in L.A...home of all the wannabe actresses eh?) Writing this book, taking responsibility where it was due, and telling the WHOLE truth about others involved, who I doubt will ever show this much honor in their entire lives...this took GUTS my man...and you've got 'em! I'm so GLAD that you gave the public this sorely needed insight into this crime as it was committed by the "alleged defendant" and the sham trial that took place afterward. It didn't take a cop or a rocket scientist to see who the guilty party was...and it REALLY didn't take either to see that you'd been railroaded, so that a murderer was allowed to go free. It also didn't take either to see that the defense did NOT win this case...rather the prosecution LOST it! Your book was a great read...it was honest, forthright, and most likely a very difficult task for you personally for a number of reasons, but you've managed to rise above all of the idjits (G-Rated Slang Noun) that were involved in that entire debacle, and in the end not only did you give us a book that had the cold hard truth in it, you also showed the public and Ms. Clark & the Gang, just who they REALLY were messing with... someone with more character in his little finger than they will EVER have in their entire bodies. Keep up the good work Mark...I've read 'em all...and can't wait for the next! Keep The Faith, and Stay Safe. FOLKS...READ THIS BOOK...you may "think" you know who Mark Furhman is, and what he's about, based on what you've heard and read in the press from talking heads, but you DON'T know...not until you read this tell-all exclusive by a man who, going in, had nothing to lose or gain on a personal level when he wrote it. And unlike so many of the other "players" in that drama, this man takes credit AND blame where it's due...he doesn't PASS THE BUCK!

Summary: If you read one more OJ book, it should be this one.
Review: Here's the case against OJ that we never heard in Judge Ito's court, because the "judge" decided to let Johnnie Cochran (the real racist in this case) turn it into the trial of Mark Fuhrman.

Fuhrman is guilty of making horrible, racist comments and doesn't try to evade his guilt on that count. But after reading this book, you will have no doubt that OJ got away with two brutal murders. Fuhrman takes you, step by step, through every minutiae of evidence introduced in the trial, and some that wasn't but should have been and debunks all the theories that suggest someone else did the crime. His explanation for the tapes is a little self-serving and I do believe that he was, at one time, a racist. But I also believe he is sincere when he says he isn't today.

Summary: Justice undone
Review: Forget what you 'think' you know about the OJ Simpson case, and forget what you 'think' you know about Mark Fuhrman. You want the true facts, not the altered Defense teams "theories", than this book is for you. Fuhrman is more than credible, he's honest about everything in this book. Easy reading, but if you're like me, it'll anger you that a murderer is walking free.

Summary: Things the public didn't know.
Review: I enjoyed reading Murder In Brentwood. Mark Fuhrman, the infamous former LAPD detective provides evidence that the O.J. Simpson murders of Nicole brown Simpson and Ron Goldman were not investigated appropriately. Mark Fuhrman who was the first investigator at the murder scene talked about evidence that were overlooked, from the crime scene to O.J. Simpson's home, and car. Mr Fuhrman discussed the reasons certain witness were not called to testify. Mark Fuhrman outlined what he thought happened on june 12, 1994 at South Bundy Drive, the home of Nicole Brown. I found myself at the crime scene following step by step through Mark Furhman's detailed account. I highly recommend this book.

Summary: This book changed my mind!
Review: After the OJ trial, I was convinced by the evidence presented (or lack thereof) that O.J. Simpson was innocent and justice had prevailed. I read Mark Furman's book the week it came out. My eyes were opened, wide!! Of course, OJ is guilty. The sad part is that everyone involved in the trial was too busy trying to grab their 15 minutes of fame to prove his guilt. The prosecution failed to present very damaging evidence. Judge Ito made mistake afer mistake. And the defense team was in it for the fame and glory. O.J. won, but America lost this one.

Summary: How lucky can a guy get!!!
Review: If Mark Furman had been the primary investigator in the Brown and Goldman murders, O.J. would be doing the rest of his life behind bars. How fourtunate for O.J. that Vanatter and Clouseau took over the case.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: If you still have doubts, you won't if you read this book!
Review: I was feeling pretty confident that O.J. did it after the trial was over. But after reading this book, I was confident beyond a shadow of a doubt! The evidence was overwhelming against O.J. and Fuhrman walks you through step by step, from the moment he got the call to come to the crime scene in the middle of the night. He explains about the DNA, the blood evidence, the timing of the crime, etc. He discusses how and why he was talking about the "bad word" that got him in so much trouble during the trial. Fuhrman got a bad rap and took the heat when O.J. should have been the one getting grilled. Fuhrman got even with the defense by writing this book. But most of all he proved himself to be an excellent detective and investigator. I could not put this book down. If you love true crime and were fascinated by the O.J. Simpson case, this is the book to read. You will never have a doubt in your mind after reading this!

Summary: The story behind the story-the only TRUTHFUL story!
Review: I am in the minority of people who have respect and admiration for police officers. They put their lives on the line so that law abiding citizens can feel safe, and as a reward, they work far too many hours for far too little pay. Mark Fuhrman was a detective that any law enforcement agency worldwide would have been proud to have on its ranks, and he, instead of the vicious murderer Simpson, and the liars Cochran, Scheck, Shapiro, and Bailey, has become a criminal. The vicious attacks they perpetrated on Fuhrman were just as brutal as Ron and Nicole's murders, and Fuhrman, like the two victims, had nowhere to run and nowhere to hide. Even more shamefully, the attacking defense team was aided and abetted by the prosecution! This book proved to me without any doubt that the only thing Mark Fuhrman was guilty of was doing his job too well. Although Mark has lost a twenty year career as a police detective, his loss is our gain, as the world has now gained another fine crime writer. This book, and Vincent Bugliosi's "Outrage" are the only books about the Simpson case that will ever be a part of my true crime collection. They line the top of my bookshelf, while Clark's and Darden's books line the bottom of my dog's cage, since that is the only place where they belong!
