Summary: Just the Facts
Review: In spite of what we will never know about Mark Fuhrman's race concerns, this book brings a lot of untold information to light. It caused me to get angry all over again about the verdict. The evidence was overwhelming and throughout this book much of what was never brought out in the trial was revealed. How sad that society let a psuedo-celebrity go free for killing 2 people because the defense was allowed to lead the case away from the evidence and toward race issues. If you harbored ill feelings about Mark Fuhrman after the trial, be fair and read his book and discover the limitations imposed on him by a disorganized prosecution team. He is a no-nonsense to-the-point writer.

Summary: Finally Mark Furhman lets us know what he thinks!
Review: The O.J. Simpson fiasco continues. Have we all heard enough about this legal disaster? No, those of us who followed the trial from its beginning cannot get enough details, and finally Mark Furhman speaks out to let us hear his side of the story. Here is the cop that discovered some of the most important evidence, a very competent cop who put his life on the line daily for the people of LA. It is an important book that lets the public see the other side (the real side) of Mark Furhman. He does not excuse his past behavior but rather clearly questions what any of that had to do with the guilt or innocence of O.J. Simpson. His career has been ended through no fault of his own - but rather by the "Scheme Team" as he calls the defense team. Read it to get the perspective of this man whose reputation has been totally destroyed in order to allow a double murderer to walk free

Summary: A Brilliant Detective and Magnificent Author
Review: Mark Fuhrman has truly displayed with perfection, his methods in desecting a crime scene. I throughly enjoyed "Murder In Brentwood, "Murder In Greenwich" and "Murder In Seattle". I know that he will be sorely missed in the Police Department however, maybe they need to miss him. They did not appreciate him when he was there so Mr. Fuhrman the best of luck. You are truly appreciated now. Without you I really do not believe that we would have ever known the truth about O. J.'s movement or Michael Skakel. Thank you for your much appreciated books.

Summary: A strong vindication.
Review: Although the writing is basic and somewhat repetitive, I found this to be an insightful book regarding the investigation of the murders in Brentwood. As any educated person can tell, Mark Fuhrman was the scapegoat of this century. He was strung up and left out to dry by many, namely the "dream team" defense for OJ Simpson. But lets look at the basic facts, Nicole and Ron are dead. DNA blood samples from BOTH bodies are found in OJ's Bronco, OJ runs from police or attempts suicide?, OJ can't even get his alibi straight, and Detectives Van Natter and Lange don't seem to find this strange? Well because of their mistakes and others (namely Marcia Clark and Fung) Fuhrman became the "fall-guy."

I don't care what Fuhrman did, said or wrote in a screen play lined with racial ephitats 15 years earlier. Two people are dead and the a miriad of evidence points to only one suspect. Clearly the American justice system has failed Nicole and Ron. So has the media, so has the LAPD. But they all also failed Mark Fuhrman. Hang tough, Mr. Fuhrman, you have been vindicated in my book!

Summary: THE BEST POLICE BOOK I'VE READ
Review: This book clearly shows the incompetence of the prosecution by using Mark Fuhrman as the scapegoat. Mark not only does a superb job in his investigation, but also testifying. Being a police officer, I've had the opportunity to view numerous detectives testify. I can honestly say that he is one of the most professional detectives I've ever seen. It is a shame that a double murderer gets off, due to a circumstance which had nothing to do with the trial. The book was superb and I could not put it down. Mr. Fuhrman should not be seen as a person who is a racist, because he is not, but should be congratulated for his outstanding job in his performance of his duties. I salute Mark Fuhrman and only hope that he could go on to live a normal life.

Summary: Less about Brentwood and more about Fuhrman
Review: I actually found this book to be less about what I expected: the murders of Ron Goldman and Nicole Simpson. Fuhrman seemed to focus on how it all affected him - which is of course his right - however I think he should have been more honest about his motives, simply through choosing a more appropriate title. There are no revelations, bar some examples of evidence not admissable in the trial. This book is very self-serving.

Summary: A must read
Review: This book will give you new insight into the OJ Simpson ivestigation and trial. Lots of little details. It is obvious that a murderer is free.

Summary: Dirty Cop?
Review: Fuhrman is blatantly disingenuous in his attempt to give a greatly self-serving interpretation to his involvement in the OJ Simpson case. There is little doubt that OJ is guilty; it is also evident that the prosecution was so incompetent that a sequestered juror or one who followed the instructions would likely conclude that the prosecution did not carry its burden of proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt; the defense was far more capable than the prosecution and even though the duty to defend the client zealously was given an excessively zealous interpretation by Cochran, they did what they were supposed to do by law; Judge Ito was not the most capable person for this type of case -- stir this together and the result was perhaps stunning, but not necessarily unexpected. Fuhrman is right that once it became known that he committed perjury and was a racist, he damaged the prosecution's case badly. However, he becomes nonsensical when he engages in a selfrighteous, obviously incredible attempt at self justification. His explanations for his misconduct are so grossly unbelievable that it takes an effort to keep reading.

Summary: where justice is a game
Review: There are still some people out there who believe that OJ is innocent. Then again, some people believe in alien abductions.
I feel outraged for Mark Fuhrman and at the legal system that allowed a killer to walk free. (Note that when money was at stake, Simpson was "convicted". 'nuff said.)
