Summary: It Was Just Okay
Review: A very easy read. Pretty predictable. Not very intriguing. The romance part was minimal and just sorta was there (very disappointing). Very simple. Mary Higgins Clark is taking the easy way out writing her latest novels. Sometimes it is best just to quit while you are ahead

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good, But have read better...
Review: Entertaining story but expected more suspense and at times the plot was very predictable. For all those out there that were hanging on to find out who the bad guy was...clue in, it's never the first evil character you meet

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: like biting into cotton candy when expecting a chewy caramel
Review: Too predictable. Also, having lived in Minneapolis for years, I've never heard of anyone driving in to the "city" from Edina. And Lacey's address on Hennepin Avenue, I believe, would be approximately at the Greyhound Bus Depot downtown

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Another EXCELLENT offering from Mary H. C.! Read it soon!
Review: If you are a MCH fan, don't miss this one. It reads fast and keeps you turning the pages until you are disappointed there are no more

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: You must read this book, before the movie comes out.
Review: First, I have to say, I should have bought the book from Amazon Books online. I paid $10.00 more at Target and that's with 25% off. I haven't read a good book like that in 7 yrs. It's the first book I've read from Mary Higgins Clark and I can't wait to read her other works. I notice the chapters were a little bit short which made it hard to put the book down. You couldn't wait to read the next chapter. The characters seemed so real and at the end of each chapter you had to visualize your own ending. A must read book

Summary: Excellent - As Usual
Review: Mary Higgins Clark has done it again!! Pretend you Don't See Her was thrilling, intriguing and all around entertaining. She never ceases to amaze me with her skills at writing books and I never get tired of reading them, even if it's a 2nd or 3rd time. She gives you enough information to come up with suspects of your own but then throws in some doubt so by the end of the book, you think you know who did it, and you're way off

Summary: Read this one in daylight!
Review: Mary Higgins Clark is such a totally awesome author and her books are always spine-tingling, but this one is her most scary one yet. I felt like I WAS Lacey and running from Caldwell was about the scariest thing I've ever done! The book makes the reader constantly ask the question, "Would I have told anyone where I was?" When I read her books, I don't trust anybody - and that adds to the suspense! When I finished reading it, I almost felt guilty for having suspected some of the people I had grown to distrust. As always, I only regret that it will be a while before the next MHC book is released

Summary: She's done it again!
Review: "Pretend You Don't See Her" is one of the best Mary Higgins Clark books I have read! It was refreshing to read after Moonlight Becomes You was sort of, but not really a disappointment! I highly recommend this book to Mary Higgins Clark fans, and to anyone who hasn't read her books.

Summary: Mary Has Done It Again
Review: This book grabbed my attention right from the start. Poor Lacey Farrell, talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Yet throughout the book Ms. Clark showed how strong a woman can be, no matter what the circumstance. Also, I for one am a very big fan of New York City and I loved the way she displayed all the streets and places there. As usual Ms. Clark lets me use my imagination. Is Alex good or bad??? Something to think about. I would also like to add if you liked this book please read Moonlight Becomes You, another 10!!

Summary: Another winner from the queen of romantic suspense
Review: Isabelle Waring hires real estate broker Lacey Farrell to sell her deceased daughter's New York apartment. Lacey takes her client, Curtis Caldwell to see the apartment. Instead of selling the man a place to live, Lacey observes Curtis kill Isabelle. Lacey describes the hit man to the police, whom quickly identify him as a professional, Sandy Savarano, whose new orders are to silent Lacey. ...... To protect her family, Lacey joins the federal witness protection program, becoming Alice Carroll (no comments from those in the looking glass, please). However, Lacey had to leave all her loved ones behind when she joined the program. Eventually, she slips up to her mother's pleading blandishments and tells the woman that she lives in Minneapolis. That is the lead that the mob needs to track down and silence Alice forever. ....... PRETEND YOU DON'T SEE HER is a typical Mary Higgins Clark novel, filled with suspense. Lacey is a fabulous working class heroine who seems to always rise to the occasion. The witness protection program is brilliantly spelled out within the context of the tale. Though the killer is not up to the usual quality of depth readers expect from Ms. Clark, the novel is so well written that does not take away from the overall story line. Fans of Ms. Clark and suspense in general will enjoy this thriller. ......Harriet Klausner
