Rating: Summary: I'm being generous with the two stars Review: This book was awful - I knew who the killer was by the time Igot through a quarter of the book. It was choppy writing andelementary at best. I couldn't concentrate on it because it was so boring and found myself wondering how many more pages were left until the torture would end. Too bad someone didn't kill this BOOK off. ew yuck, don't bother. And I'm actually a fan of MHC.
Rating: Summary: Mary kept me interested from page one! Review: This book has an intense plot with great characters. I would suggest it to anyone!
Rating: Summary: Yuck! Yuck! Yuck! Review: As, with all Mary Higgins Clark books, the reader knows by the third chapter who the murderer is. This is, perhaps, better than some of her others. For real mystery try Dame Agatha Christie or Sir Arthur Conan Doyle!
Rating: Summary: Excellant!!!!! Review: This book is excellant one of the best i have ever read. If you like mystery and suspense your sure to love this book !!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Who wants to go dancing? Review: My God! Talk about fantastic! I read it in three hours straight. This book was amazing. Absolutely. I find the whole ' dancing shoe' mystery enthralling. Read for a real thrill!
Rating: Summary: A Must-Read!! Review: This is my absolute favorite book! It is cleary above and beyond all her others, and contains the usually deeply developed characters, thrilling plot, and surprise ending. I stayed up extremely late and finished it in one night!

Rating: Summary: Great Suspense Novel Review: I am reading the Book, Loves Music, Loves to Dance, written by Marry Higgins Clark, is a book written specially for the suspense in this story. Clark, uses her excelent writing talent , to keep her readers interested and on the edge of their seat. I highly recomend this book if your very interested in the Love/Mystery types. This book goes back and forth telling many differnt stories but in the end they all weave together, and it all makes since. I highly recomend this book. If your looking for a good book to read and keep you busy this is the one to choose.
Rating: Summary: I recommend this book to anyone who loves murder mysteries. Review: Loves Music, Loves To Dance is a wonderful book that kept me at the edge of my seat. I liked how Clark did not reveal the serial killer's identity until the very end. The only clue she gave the reader was that his name was "Charley," and he met women through personal ads. The women he meets absolutely must LOVE to dance. His strategy was to get his date to like him, and he would then invite them back to his house for a "dance." They would dance to the music he had picked out special for them. Charley would then suprise his victims by giving them a pair of spike-heeled dancing shoes. They would dance to one last song, and then he would make his move. He strangled most of his victims and buried most of them in his yard after he froze them in his freezer for a while. He froze them so that he could "admire" his work. When Erin Kelly was found missing, and presumed murdered, Darcy Scott (her best friend) got involved with the police to try and determine the murderer. Clark gives several possibilities throughout the book of who "Charley" could be. Doug Fox was a suspect because he was also a suspect in Nan Sheridan's (another victim of the serial killer) case. He stayed out all hours of the night, and even his wife suspected him of being the killer. Another suspect was Len Parker. He and Darcy had met through the personal ads, but he denied ever meeting Erin Kelly. This was a lie! He had also met Erin through the ads, and they had gone on a date. The police suspected him because most of his dates went sour, and he followed the women to their houses. He stalked them for a little while, then he quit after finding somebody else to harass. Yet another suspect in the string of murders was Jay Stratton. He knew Erin because they were both Jewlers. He was a suspect because he submitted a claim that one quarter of a million dollars worth of Erin's diamonds were missing. It was unusual because he submitted the claim just after Erin's death, and the police just did not trust him. Personally, I thought that he was the killer becaue it sounded, to me, that he only wanted the insurance money on the diamonds. The police dug up the dirt on him and found a key piece of information. Not only was Jay a suspect, but his middle name is Charles! Suprisingly, none of these characters were the real killer. I was shocked to find out who it was. His name is Dr. Michael Nash, and he had also met Darcy through the personal ads. He was a psychiatrist and seemed like a lovable guy. He seemed like the type that would never hurt a fly. Michael had tons of money, and Darcy really liked him. They had gone on quite a few dates together, and they even went horseback riding together at his stables. Michael is the kind of guy you want to trust. One night, Darcy and Michael were comming home from a date and decided to go to Michael's house. The strange part is that he does not take her to his mansion, he takes her to the cottage behind it. She has never been there before. Once they get there, they have drinks, and he asks her if she would like to dance. Unsuspectingly, Darcy accepts, and they danced for hours. After one of the dances, Michael told Darcy that he had a present for her. He gave her a pair of spike-heeled dancing shoes. Darcy caught on right away that he is the real killer, and she is about to be his next victim. She did not lose her cool, however, because she did't want to show him that she knew. At the same time, the police figured out that Michael is the serial killer and are on their way to save Darcy. They came through the front door just as Michael is strangling Darcy. If they would have been any moment too late, Darcy would be another one of Michael's victims. Throughout the entire book, I was at the edge of my seat. I strongly recommend Loves Music, Loves To Dance to all readers who love suspenseful murder mysteries. This was the first book of Mary Higgins Clark that I have read, and it will not be the last. I love her work, and I hope the rest of her novels are just as well written.
Rating: Summary: A thrill ride of a book Review: Too good to put down and almost impossible to stop reading. Have read all of her stories and this is my second favorite (First being "While My Pretty One Sleeps). If you like fiction and a good story--check out her Books!!!
