Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Compelling and personal
Review: My husband got this book, and I thought it would be a bore, but I couldn't put it down. It is a very personal glimpse into the hedge fund/venture capital world that Jim and his wife, who he calls "the trading goddess", were full players in. There aren't a lot of investing tips (although it does make you realize that no individual has the time or resouces to do this on their own)--it's more about the impact on a person and his life. It spares no gorey details (A Fed Rate Cut during the delivery of their child!), but I ended up with greater respect for how hard it is to do what Jim did well, and amazement for his willingness to open up.

Summary: Awesome view into the inner-workings of Wall Street
Review: I found this book to be absolutely fascinating. In particular, the chapters covering the worldwide financial crisis of 1998 and its effects on Cramer's hedge fund are as intense as anything I have ever read. Great, great read!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A great story for anyone to read.
Review: Jim Cramer has proven himself as a writer and story-teller with this fascinating look into his life. While I was a bit skeptical at first, that is book is being compared to Liar's Poker, now I can see why, and recommend it to everyone. Cover to cover, I couldn't put this book down. Read it!

Summary: Great read
Review: Great book. This one is a must have. It surely fits my top 3 next to Pit Bull and Darvas' book.
You either like him or hate him but you can't argue with his record...

Summary: Love him or hate him, this is THE JC book
Review: "Good judgment comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgment"(unk) is the theme of this book as Jim Cramer opens up his personal and trading life. This Autobiography could be served up every Yom Kippur as Jim's confessional.

It could be catalogued under items other that Financial. It is a "Self Help" book for the Obsessive/Compulsive, Manic/Depressive and how to turn your life around and realize the important things of life.

After completing "Trading With the Enemy", I thought that Cramer had a great basis for a lawsuit against Maier. To my surprise, Jim confirmed most of the antics described in Maier's book. (I suggest that you read both books-different camera angles on the same topic).

Both books demonstrate how the Wall Street game is played. I find that Jim's book is a third pillar (TA and FA books being the first) in understanding the market for every novice Day Trader)

If this book were ever made into a movie (which it should), I nominate Danny DeVito to play Cramer and Julia Roberts for the role of "The trading Goddess" (his wife Karen).

This book is the equivalent of Cramer dawning a Hair shirt and whipping himself as he set astride the bull in front of the NYSE...

Summary: A Trader's Bible
Review: Anyone--professional or otherwise, looking to gain in edge in today's tough market, or any market for that matter--MUST order this book immediately.

The media will say what they will, but numbers don't lie:

Cramer is one of the best, if not the best, money managers ever to grace Wall Street.

Cramer has fought hard every step of the way to get where he is now, and his book will serve as motivation for hopeful traders for years to come. Anyone interested in more should go to thestreet.com (the website cramer founded), or watch his show on cnbc every night, or listen to his radio program. You can learn a lot from this Wall Street God.

Summary: Great Read
Review: Like him or hate him Mr. Cramer has become the most talked about real life trader in the market. Here he tells a lot about how it happened and what he was thinking and doing through the bubble years of the 90's. Well written fun read for those of us that traded through the same period. I especially like the picture he paints of his wife. Makes one want to meet them both.

Summary: CRAMER CHRONICLES
Review: FASCINATING LOOK AT ONE OF THE FEW PUNDITS WHO ACTUALLY ADMITS TO BEING WRONG ON OCCASSION. UNLIKE MANY OF THESE [individuals] WHO DESCRIBE THEMSELVES AS "LONG TERM" OR "EARLY", CRAMER PUTS IT ON THE LINE EVERY DAY AND BACKS IT UP. BEING IN THE INDUSTRY, HIS MEMORIES HIT HOME, AND I FEEL HIS PAIN. A GREAT READ FOR ANYBODY WHO HAS FOLLOWED THE MARKETS FOR THE PAST DECADE OR TWO.

Summary: GOING TO JAIL
Review: I can't help but say that I was left severely dissapointed by the lack of actual Confessions in this book. The only interesting tidbit was how Cramer admits to "planting news" to get people to say certain things. I couldn't help but wonder if he practiced this with CNBC reporters, especially after having read that OTHER Cramer book. Cramer rants and raves but where's the how Wall Street really works? I learned more from Trading With the Enemy by Nicholas Maier. When is Cramer going to jail?
