Rating: Summary: This is an awesome book that had a tremendous impact on me. Review: I read this book, and I highly recommend it to everyone in the world!!! With an honest and open mind,I think anyone who read's it would have to agree that it has one of the most soul stirring messages about HELL ever recorded on paper. If all is true ,( which I believe it is)one would have nothing to lose by doing some serious soul searching.I'm very sad to say, that many will not take this book seriously and are in for a very rude awakening one day!!! _Read it and be blessed.
Rating: Summary: Divine Revelation or Erroneous Confused Theology? Review: Immediately upon reading the first chapter of the book I became aware on the theological error. If I could I'd give it a -5 stars. The book would make a good script for a horror movie. In fact I think that's where most of the content originated! The book is designed to scare non-believers to accept Christ by telling of the horrors of hell. Many of these concepts disappeared during the middle ages. Also, many of the parables of Christ are reworked in the book to appear as the Author's experiences. Even parables from Luke 16 can be obviously recognized. Though Christ loves us, there is punishment and damnation (death physically and spiritually). In the book, no one dies in hell (which is against scripture), instead Mary Baxter would have us believe that evil doers will be eternally tortured and not destroyed. The evil will be brought into the New Creation (also against scripture)to be forever tortured. Some people still do not understand the difference between punishing, punished, and punishment. You cannot coerce someone into loving Christ through fear! To do so is not free will. Many religious groups need to learn that lesson first. This is truly one of the poorest works of Christian Apostate Theology since the middle ages. The book is endorsed br Dr. T.L. Lowery of the National Church of God. To use Christ to support such babel is indictive of the religious thinking of the mental circumscisers and a confused theology that lacks understanding of even the concept of death! The book makes it a point to single out Lesbians and Homosexuals as a special class of sinner. All sin is sin to God. The foolish "spiritual pride" can be seen in this book as well as the holier than though attituted. Is it worse to commit sins of the flesh or sins of the spirit? I would suggest the authors and endorsers of this book read carefully lest they be judged by their own words, false doctrines, and deeds!
Rating: Summary: This book scared me. Review: The author shares with us her experiences where Jesus takes her and shows her hell. And in this hell she finds verification of everything she has ever believed in. She finds all of the types of people that she is against burning for eternity. The only thing that I believe of this book is that the author believes she experienced these things. What scares me the most is how many people take these experiences seriously as truth. I do not recommend this book unless someone either wants to reinforce their viewpoint that the Christian way is the only way and all others will burn for eternity or if they have a strong stomach for terror and want to understand the fears that are used to cause people to enter cults.
Rating: Summary: Time is running out!! Review: I have read Ms Baxter's book and I must say it is very interesting. I do believe Jesus has shown her visions of hell. I've compared her visions to the book of Revelations in the Bible and I must say I was very amazed. For her to have Jesus permission to reveal what she has seen is a true Blessing and very painful. Ms. Baxter, please continue to enlighten the world about your journey with Christ our Savior. For His Words are what was and will always be. Please everyone, be sincere and ask for forgiveness of your sins. Accept God the Father and Jesus his only Son into your heart. For once you leave this earth, your chance will be over ... Time is running out!
Rating: Summary: Truth is truth. We have a choice. Review: After reading this book and Betty Eadie's book "Embraced by the Light", I was greatly inspired and moved. I do not in anyway think that the experiences that these two women claim to have had are in anyway contridictory to The Bible. One thing is clear. God has given us an ultimatum. He has also given us free will to choose our own path. These choices determine our destiny beyond death. This is a harsh reality to take, but humans did not make these universal rules...God did. So humans have the choice to either accept it or reject it. As we enter the millenium, I recommend that folks have an open mind and read this book, Betty Eadie's books and The Bible. The revelations shared by Ms. Eadie and Ms. Baxter are not New Age inspired but God inspired. Peace.
Rating: Summary: Reinforces the necessity to win souls... Review: When I picked the book up at a book store, I never dreamed how it would change my life. I am a christian but I had to "take stock" and critique my own life as I was reading the different encounters Mary had with those in hell. My heart aches for those who have gone there and can never get out and for those who will refuse to hear the gospel even now (because we know what lies ahead for them). My prayers for souls have intensified. My daughter read the book and bought two of her own to pass around. I have lent mine to a co-worker; I believe it is an excellent tool for evangelism. It shows a Jesus of love and compassion, even after the judgment which is set by each individual themselves. It only reinforces the fact that Jesus has mercy on sinners while they are living on earth but once they die, there can be no more mercy because they CHOSE the path. God is a God of love but He is also a God of judgment. Christians, let's pray for those lost souls who are still alive and plead the mercy of God, that they will turn to Him before it's too late. I thank God for my sister who wrote the book and pray that God would continue to use her for His glory. PRAISE HIM!
Rating: Summary: A Book That Everyone Needs to Read! Review: This is a book that everyone should read. It not only caught my eye but enlightened me to some things I did not know. I have been raised up in the church all of my life and I believe that what Mary K. Baxter is describing about Hell to be true. You can't sugar coat how Hell is going to be. It is a place where you will be tormented everyday of your after life. I believe that you have a choice to make while you are here on Earth of who you are going to serve God or Satan and I don't want to live in a place where all I can think about is, "Why didn't I change my life while I had the chance?" or "Why didn't I choose God?" Also I liked the way Mary Baxter describes the different parts of hell and describes it as being like the human body. I don't know why people are saying that they don't think God would send people to be tormented like that, but you see we all have a chance to serve Him here on earth and if you don't you have to face the consequences. God doesn't want you to suffer and that is what I liked about the book. It showed God as simple not complicated. I would recommend this book to anyone. And for those who have read the book and still do not believe need to read it again and pray that the second time they read it, it will open their eyes and make them see that Hell is to be taken seriously.
Rating: Summary: A Must Read Book for the Human Race Review: Only God would use a housewife and mother (a "nobody" in the world's eyes) to describe to us the utter horror of hell. The Bible says that God uses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. My heart tells me that everything that Mrs. Baxter described in her book is true. It scares me, mostly for my family and for people that I see everyday. It also reminded me that those who are in hell had their chance to know Jesus and forsook Him out of unbelief. It has caused me to seek God more in my life. It changed my life. " Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?" Our lives ARE more than food and our bodies than clothes, because if we do not know Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, our life with our body WILL GO straight to hell. I pray that everyone who reads this review or knows about this book will buy it. Know and serve Jesus before it is too late!!
Rating: Summary: THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I HAVE EVER READ Review: I would rate this over 5 stars if I could. This book has touched me spiritually and I don't understand how it could possibly not touch everyone one who reads it. God bless Mrs. Baxter!

Baxter went through was true andreal and you better repent of your ways in Jesus' name soon, for theend is sooner than some of you think!
