Review: As a Professor of Philosophy, I'm always in the hunt for teaching devices for my students that find the arcane syntax and grammar of classical philosophy difficult, if not impossible to penetrate.

In this series,THE GIANTS OF PHILOSOPHY, Charlton Heston's veteran voice makes the unintelligible constructs of philosophy's greatest thinkers quite understandable. This is no small feat.

The series is well written as well, this makes it much easier for Heston, a layperson philosophically, to intuit the meaning and the implications.

I recommend to my many students. There is also a CD version as well.
