Summary: A SEP disappointment
Review: I, too, anxiously await the latest SEP release. I was very disappointed in this story. It was way too similar to some of her previous books, even down to the stupid little dog. It was much too similar to the story of the sister, but that was a very good read, being the first time around. I started the book, left it on my table, read a few in between, and then decided to finish it off in the hopes it would get better. It didn't. Instead of buying this one, re-read one of her old releases.

Summary: Had to arm-wrestle my mother to read this first!
Review: And it's worth fighting for! What a delightful book, filled with hope, joy and unforgettable romance. Molly is as flawed and endearing as your best friend, and you just want to cheer her on through the book. The little excerpts from Molly's writing were an ingenius way to give a glimpse of what's going on inside her. This author has a unique and powerful voice, and a way of tugging the heartstrings until you're laughing through your tears. Don't miss this! And buy your mom her own copy.

Summary: Simply SEP!
Review: Another keeper from SEP. She is simply one of the best. Worth rereading. Enjoy!

Summary: The Best
Review: I loved this book. I read it as an e-book and couldn't wait for it to come out in hardback so I could buy it and put it on my keeper shelf. Everything about the story that has been reviewed with five stars is so true. I just wanted to beef up the score on the book since the one star has made the rating for the book plumet and quite frankly, I believe unfairly. I bought and read all of this authors books after I read this book. I read this book in one single sitting and absolutly loved it. I think the author can come up with even more compatible characters from the Stars team.

Summary: She's just the best!
Review: Some romance writers choose style over substance...some choose substance over style. Somehow, SEP always manages to get it just "write"! Here is another example of her tremendous wit, charm, and romanticism. We once again are believers that a outrageously handsome man can also be intelligent and caring enough to love a woman who may not equal his outward attractiveness, but is so beautiful on the inside that he can't help but fall in love. For romance readers who are put off by ultra-perfect heroines who always get the man's attention with their looks, here's a character who's off-beat, a little crazy, merely "attractive", and beautiful because of the whole package. If you want to believe in fairy tales and happily ever after, read this one.

Summary: Offended & Appalled
Review: I don't offend easily, but I was offended by this latest effort by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. What Molly did to Kevin was unforgivable. That Kevin even speaks to her again was unbelievable. That everyone reviewing this book is giving it 4 & 5 stars appalls and saddens me. How would we react if this had happened to a male loved one? Would we say that it was okay and he should marry the woman who did that to him? I certainly hope that's not true. If the roles had been reserved, would it have ever been published as a "romance" and would you have wanted to read it?

Summary: Disappointment!
Review: Let me start off by saying that I LOVE SEP books. I think she is a fabulous writer and I have been so excited to read this book. However, I was sooooo disappointed by this one. I could simply not like Molly--she was stupid! Truly and literally--an airhead and I did not like the way the book started--how she started her relationship with Kevin. He's a great character and it's almost like he was overshadowed by her reckless behavior. I never thought I would be giving an SEP book a bad review but I am sorry--this one stinks!

Summary: "This Heart of Mine", stole my heart!
Review: The only problem I have with any Susan Elizabeth Phillips book is that I always start feeling overly anxious the nearer I get to the ending. I just hate to finish any SEP book, and I dreaded the end of this one more then ususal. I've finished this knowing I'll have start about 12 books before I find another one to grab my attention....unless it happens to be another SEP book! Anytime one of the Chicago Stars football team members is the hunky hero, I know the story is going to get torrid. One can count on the heroine to cause him to be fanning himself a lot, she'll be fanning herself! It gets hot for everyone involved including the reader. "This Heart of Mine" is no exception. Molly Somerville has a habit of falling into trouble, both intentionally an unintentionally. However, she doesn't plan on falling for Kevin Tucker, the current Stars quarterback. Falling for her is furthest thing from his mind. But, fall they both do...big time! The story also has a nice side romance involving Lili, Kevins gorgeous, actress mother and Liam, a surly artist. Great characters, great read. Now, the difficult part. Waiting on SEP to come out with her next book!

Summary: Silly
Review: This book was too disjointed. I think she forgot who her main characters were. I just couldn't read it. I usually like her books but this one didn't do a thing for me. I should have waited for the paperback.
