Summary: A book anyone can read and enjoy!
Review: Mandy is a wonderful book. Even though I am 13 I still love this book! The recomended ages are 9-12;I read Mandy when I was 12 but now that I am 13 I still can't wait to get the book for froever! This book can make you laughe and cry. I laughed a lot while reading this book. I also had cried a couple of times from happiness and sorrow. Mandy(the main Character) goes through the ups and downs of her childhood and showed me how tough it must be to be loved by very few people. Most importantly this book showed me how tough it must be to be an orphan find happiness, stick with it, and end up happy.

Summary: I loved it as a child, and cherish it as an adult!!!
Review: I read this book as a young girl a number of times and loved it more and more with each reading. Yes, it is easy reading, but strikes a chord in a child's imagination that is unmatched in many books. I am now an English major and have not read many children's books that exemplify the wonder and love that all children experience for family and knights on white horses.

Summary: wonderful book
Review: all young girls should read this book that is a little bit about a lot of things like doing anything for something you love no matter what it is or what you have to do. Mandy followed her heart and her dreams and was led onto something much more beautiful than the life she had led. reread this when you're older and more comes out of it.

Summary: Very Dull
Review: I read this book to my 10 year old and found it to be DULL. The author describes everything in tiring details, and is not interesting to an adult reader. Recommend Pollyanna instead. This may be better for 6-7 year old.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Kind of bland
Review: This book is kind of bland (of course, if you're reading this, you already know that that's my opinion.) It's a good English story, but it's definitely not for you if you like a story with an involved plot.

Rating: 5 stars

Summary: This book is full of enchantment
Review: I loved reading this book. I could picture the cottage all old and dusty and then it filling with vibrant colors when Mandy takes care of it. I loved how she snuck over the wall and she didn't get caught for awhile. Then her snoopy friend finds out she's been leaving. This story is about a wonderful girl who found a cottage and took it as her home and finds at she isn't the only owner of it.
