Summary: A good book for managers and to be managers!
Review: The book analyses perceptively the essential qualities of the successful
business and business leader.It is a very straight forward book. Each
chapter of the book provides a clear definition of a concept ,such as
strategy or culture. Also it has a number of examples of the past successes
and failures of many American companies, which makes it a blend of
theories and applications. This book has also been used as a
reference book by many other authors. Even though the book has been
written in 1985, I think the principles listed are very much applicable today
and very essential for the New Age Executives.
