Summary: A Great Read!
Review: This was my first PC novel--now I'm hooked! She's an excellent author with a writing style that keeps her readers interested and focused. No lofty language--she gets to the point and stays with it throughout the book. This is a definite must read!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wonderful Reading!
Review: This was my first PC read & wasn't my last. Love the characters & the mix of medical terminology broken down so all can understand. Am now always impatiently awaiting the next in the series!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great Book!!!
Review: This is the first Cornwell book I have read. After reading this book, I'm hooked on Cornwell. I can't wait to read the rest!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: TOP-NOTCH!
Review: This book was one of her best. PC is on the money with her acuracy in forensic pathology (as always). ATR offers realism and is an intense mystery. It's a MUST read.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Solid but not as good as some of her other efforts.
Review: Good read but not Cornwell's best yet. Have to admit, I'm addicted to the series and still couldn't put this one down. If you're reading the entire series some stuff is repetitive but not enough to turn me off. Looking forward to more.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Good plot, suspense
Review: I think P.C. has done an excellent job with this book. There are a lot of facts about forensics and the investigative efforts of Dr. Scarpetta are well founded. I truly enjoyed this book and could not let go of it until I finished it!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good, but not one of her best
Review: Though I liked the book overall, I disliked the ending (I want to experience it, not just have the characters talk about the resolution). I really enjoy the "unnecessary" details--the brand of cars, the recipes, the computer talk--because it helps you to better know and picture the characters. You really feel like you're part of the story

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Cornwell is awesome!
Review: This is an absolutely fabulous romp through the world of forensic pathology. Cornwell does for pathologists what Grisham did for lawyers, make them glamorous and exciting.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Exciting, twisty murder mystery loaded with medical jargon.
Review: Ms. Cornwell knows her medical facts. She writes well and hides the plot twists right up until you're upon them. Her books grab readers early and keep them up all night

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: An OK book!
Review: Even though this book had a crazy ending, I still enjoyed it
